About This Course
HR work is drafting work and judgment work, piled on the same desk, on the same day. The drafting is endless: job descriptions, postings, outreach, interview packs, offer and rejection letters, onboarding plans, handbook language, training outlines, meeting summaries, messages about change, messages about loss. The judgment is irreplaceable: who is a fit and why, what a policy should actually say, how a hard message should be worded so a real person can receive it, what may be shared and what must never leave the room. AI tools are genuinely useful for the first pile and genuinely dangerous when they drift into the second — and they drift by default, because a tool that can draft a summary can also, in the same tone of voice, draft a ranking, a rejection, and a reason. This course teaches you to hold the line between the piles while taking the real help on offer. You will learn to brief a tool the way you would brief a capable new assistant, to work its draft hard, to check every output for bias, error, invented fact, and leaked confidence, and to keep every decision about a person where it belongs: with a human who can be asked, afterward, why — and who can answer. By the end of this program, you will have a complete, honest way of working the HR bench with AI: faster on the drafting, slower and more deliberate exactly where a person is concerned, and able to show your review on any output that touched an employee or a candidate.
