Government FAQ
Can we pay by invoice or purchase order?
Yes. The license checkout offers payment by card or by invoice, and purchase orders are accepted — arranged as part of your proposal, so your procurement process is respected from the first step.
Do you publish your prices?
Yes — the same published license table every buyer sees: per employee per year, set by headcount, prepaid annually. Government pays what companies pay. There is no separate quote-only government price list.
Is this learning for our employees, or for the public?
For your employees. Cognosco does not run citizen or resident workforce programs today, and we will not pretend otherwise — if that is the program you need, this is not it. What we offer is professional learning for the people on your payroll.
Is the platform Section 508 / WCAG conformant?
Here is exactly where things stand: the courses run in a standard web browser with nothing to install, and every coaching session can be completed entirely by voice or entirely by typing. We have not completed a formal Section 508 conformance audit, so we do not claim conformance we have not proven. If your review needs our current accessibility details, contact us and we will share precisely what is true today.
Do employees need special software or an LMS connection?
No. The courses run in a standard web browser — no software to install, no plugins, nothing to deploy. We do not offer LMS integrations; your agency’s record of learning lives in your Government Portal instead.
What information about our employees do you hold?
Each employee’s answers are used to coach that employee — to respond, build their personal learner record, and issue their certificates. Your portal administrators see per-employee progress and completions for your agency only. Cognosco does not sell learner data.
What is a Socratic coaching session?
A conversation, not a video. The Coach asks a question; the employee answers — by voice or by typing — and the Coach responds to what they said, naming the misconception it hears and affirming what they got right. An employee advances only when they have mastered each concept, so a finished course means the learning held.
