The Lighthouse
An interactive learning experience — personalized, adaptive, always on. Cognosco Learning's courses, taught by an AI Socratic coach.

A New Kind of Learning
Socratic coaching, delivered by an agentic AI coach.
Not a course you watch. An AI coach you work with.
Most online courses give everyone the same information, in the same order, and hope that learning happens. The Lighthouse Coach works differently.
It begins by asking questions—not simply to test you, but to discover how you actually think about the subject. When an answer reveals a misconception, the Coach identifies the idea underneath it, teaches what is missing, and gives you a realistic situation in which to practice. It then asks you to prove that you can use what you have learned.
If you already understand a concept, you may test out of it. If you do not, the Coach stays with you, providing progressively deeper guidance until the idea becomes clear and usable. At the end of each module, you complete a capstone that turns the concepts into a practical plan, decision, conversation, or other real-world result.
Each Signature Course is built from a complete, structured course book and delivered by the Lighthouse Coach—an agentic AI system that diagnoses, teaches, guides practice, assesses mastery, and records your progress. The result is not merely exposure to information. It is demonstrated understanding.
The curriculum is deliberately authored; the AI delivers it through coaching. It is not an AI randomly generating lessons.

Breakthrough to Influence
The first Signature AI Socratic Coaching Course is live — and it is, first and foremost, a sales course. The Lighthouse Coach teaches Breakthrough to Influence the way a great coach works in the room: its influence skills serve anyone who must persuade, but this course was designed for people who sell.
The Lighthouse extends what Cognosco Learning has done in person since 2002: a guide that meets you where you are, illuminates the course ahead, and helps you learn your way there — now available whenever you need it.

Delegation & Accountability
The Lighthouse Coach now teaches managers delegation as a discipline: choosing what to hand over and what never to hand over, matching work to a person's real readiness, and briefing whole — the outcome, the boundaries, the authority, and the check-ins — before work starts, then following through without hovering, correcting early and once, holding accountability without shame, and taking work back honestly, up to your own manager and sideways to peers.
This course works on your actual delegations throughout: bring real work — a task you are about to hand over, a brief you have already given badly, a piece of work drifting now — anonymized where it needs to be, and the Coach makes you brief it, track it, and close it, concept by concept, until it holds; change the names, change the figures, keep the shape of the problem.

Executive Coaching
The Lighthouse Coach now teaches C-suite leaders, VPs, and senior directors — the executive himself, as the coachee — in a confidential, high-impact environment: executive presence and gravitas, the blind spots nobody shows you, 360-degree feedback practiced as soliciting, reading, and sorting multi-source feedback (not a proprietary tool, with no scoring), high-stakes decisions under pressure, communicating vision and strategy, and resilience at the top. It holds up the mirror; it is not a course in coaching others.

Executive Presence
Most leaders do not lose rooms on knowledge. They lose them in the thirty seconds before they start speaking, in the answer that runs three minutes past its point, in the fact they knew and hedged anyway, in the meeting they attended without ever quite arriving, and in the document that contained the decision somewhere on page four.
This course teaches executive presence as a discipline of carrying substance: building the gravitas that comes from composure, candour, and a genuine command of your material; controlling the signals you can control — how you enter, how you look, how you listen, how you read a room and adjust without dissolving; speaking and writing with executive economy, in person and on a screen; and holding your standard in the hardest rooms — hostile questions, bad news, and rooms full of people senior to you. Your own upcoming moment is the course material.

Hiring & Interviewing Skills
The Lighthouse Coach now teaches managers, owners, and panel members to hire on evidence: defining any job in outcomes and building the scorecard before meeting a candidate, running a structured, lawful interview — job-related questions, asked consistently, judged on evidence from the interview itself — scoring, debriefing, and deciding from the record rather than memory or chemistry, and closing well with honest selling, a clean offer, and a fair no. Lawful interviewing only: never ask about — or sort candidates by — protected characteristics or anything that stands in for them;
this course is general education about hiring practice, not legal advice, and employers follow their own counsel and HR policy.

Leadership Coaching
The Lighthouse Coach now teaches managers, directors, and executives how to lead people, not just manage tasks: knowing your natural leadership style and when to apply each style, coaching team members through challenges and performance gaps, building psychological safety and trust within your team, and leading change with confidence — drawing out the best in others instead of having all the answers yourself.

Leading Remote & Hybrid Teams
The Lighthouse Coach now teaches leaders of remote and hybrid teams the craft of leading people they cannot see: judging delivered work instead of visible presence, running the team written-first so decisions live where anyone can find them, keeping a deliberate rhythm of cadence, one-to-ones, and meetings that earn their place, and building trust from the record — the remote voice counting the same in hybrid rooms, feedback given early and in writing first, availability by agreed signal rather than surveillance, and the right to be off protected.
It names no software products and invents no statistics: tools change; practices endure.

Management Strategies for Administrative Professionals
The Lighthouse Coach now teaches executive assistants, office managers, and administrative support staff how to lead without line authority — power through competence, clarity, timing, and trust: prioritizing and managing competing demands effectively, communicating assertively with managers and executives, developing project coordination and organizational skills, and positioning themselves as strategic contributors.
Project work is taught at the coordinator's scale — pieces, people, dates, follow-through — with the full project-management method in the Bring It In On Time course. Assertiveness is taught as professional clarity, never manipulation — no manipulation techniques, no office-politics games. Confidentiality is professional ethics: what you hear at the desk stays at the desk.

Meeting Facilitation
The Lighthouse Coach now teaches professionals to run meetings that earn their hour: deciding whether a meeting should exist and stating its purpose and outcome before invitations, building agendas as decisions to make with the right people in the room, facilitating toward a decision — quiet voices heard, tangents parked, derailers handled without losing the people — and capturing decisions with owners and dates so they hold.
This course works on your actual meetings throughout: bring a real meeting — one on your calendar this week — anonymized, and the Coach makes you redesign it, concept by concept, until it earns its hour; change the names, change the figures, keep the shape of the problem. It prints no invented statistics — a meeting's cost is taught from your own calendar.

Mentoring Skills
The Lighthouse Coach now teaches mentors the craft from the mentor's chair: telling mentoring apart from managing, coaching, and therapy — and holding its boundaries, contracting a mentoring relationship with its terms and edges stated aloud, listening and questioning before telling, sharing experience without cloning, giving feedback and challenge that land, and referring on when a struggle exceeds mentoring — to the manager, to HR, or to professional help — instead of carrying it alone. The mentee owns the direction; the mentor owns the honesty.

Bring It In On Time
The Lighthouse Coach now teaches working leads and managers the fundamentals of running a project well: defining scope with an out list, naming deliverables with acceptance criteria, sequencing from real dependencies, finding the critical path, estimating honestly, and assembling a timeline from the people who actually exist — then managing stakeholders, reporting status plainly, naming risks before they name you, holding change to a conversation, and closing properly.

Strategic Thinking
The Lighthouse Coach now teaches leaders to choose direction and keep it chosen: stating where to compete and how to win in plain words, naming what you will not do, seeing the whole board — the customer's real problem, the system your move lands in, and the consequences beyond the first move — making strategy real in resources, sequence, and truth-telling measures, and reviewing and revising on evidence without drifting.
No real company is presented as a teaching case: every example is a clearly fictional company, invented for this course, and the course works on your actual strategy throughout — bring a real choice, anonymized, and leave with it chosen, stated, and ready to be reviewed.

Trainer Effectiveness
The Lighthouse Coach now teaches internal trainers, facilitators, and subject matter experts the craft of teaching and facilitating groups — design first, then delivery: design learning experiences that achieve real behaviour change, facilitate groups with confidence and authority, use adult learning principles to maximize retention, and handle challenging participants and difficult moments. Adult learning is taught as sound general principles — no percentages, no studies, no named theorists, and the retention-percentage chart is named as folklore with no valid source. This is the craft of teaching and facilitating groups, not a coaching course.

Advanced Communication & Influencing Strategies

Business Etiquette
The Lighthouse Coach now teaches working people the craft of making other people comfortable and making their own competence easy to see: navigating business introductions and meetings with confidence, communicating professionally in person and digitally, understanding dining etiquette and corporate social norms, and building a strong professional presence. Etiquette is taught as geography, not a universal code: the conventions are widely practiced ones, norms vary by company, industry, generation, and culture, and the governing skill is reading the room you are actually in.

Business Writing
The Lighthouse Coach now teaches professionals to write documents that get read and acted on: knowing your reader and landing one clear point in every document, structuring emails, proposals, and reports so the ask comes first and the reader finishes, editing ruthlessly — plain words, active voice, no padding — and setting the right tone to write the hard messages cleanly.
This course works on your actual writing throughout: bring real work — an email you must send, a report paragraph that will not sit right, a proposal you are drafting — anonymized where it needs to be, and the Coach makes you revise it, concept by concept, until it does the job; change the names, change the figures, keep the shape of the problem.

Difficult Conversations & Feedback
The Lighthouse Coach now teaches managers and professionals the planned conversation: preparing a difficult conversation with a clear purpose and clean evidence, opening without ambush and saying the true thing plainly and kindly, giving specific, usable feedback and hearing the response fully, and receiving feedback, following up, and repairing conversations that go badly — one purpose, clean evidence, the person separated from the problem, the whole response heard, and an agreement that can be checked.
Harassment, discrimination, threats, and safety issues are not difficult-conversation practice material — they go to HR and the formal process immediately, and this course never teaches handling them as a conversation technique.
This course teaches the planned conversation one person prepares and initiates.

Effective Communication & Influencing Strategies
The Lighthouse Coach now teaches every professional the foundation communication course — the everyday craft: communicating with purpose first, building the message for the listener, using storytelling and data together to make the point land, listening before answering, navigating pushback with grace, and building influence that comes from trust rather than authority — all under the described-back test: never use a tactic you would be embarrassed to hear described back to you.
This is the accessible foundation course, not Signature Course No. 1's manual-based method course and not No. 11's graduate boardroom course. There are no invented statistics here.

Negotiation Skills
The Lighthouse Coach now teaches professionals, managers, and founders the honest discipline of negotiation: preparing by separating what people ask for from what they actually need, knowing your walk-away alternative and reading the other side's world, opening and framing the conversation honestly, making offers as packages, trading concessions instead of giving them away, working through pressure and impasse without deception, and finishing with an agreement tested, written down, and built to hold. No deception, no bluffing with lies, no exploiting weakness.

Presentation & Public Speaking
The Lighthouse Coach now teaches professionals who present the craft of the talk itself: knowing your audience and building the talk around one clear point, structuring a talk people can follow and opening it so attention is earned, supporting the point with honest stories, checkable evidence, and slides that serve the talk, and delivering with presence, handling questions — including hostile ones — and closing so people remember and act.
Stories are told true or not told, evidence is shown with its limits attached, and slides never carry a number the speaker could not defend out loud.

Budget & Managing Money
The Lighthouse Coach now teaches anyone who runs a budget — individuals and households, managers, and small-business owners — how to manage money with clarity: building and managing a personal or business budget, understanding key financial statements, identifying and eliminating unnecessary spending, and planning for financial goals with confidence.
This is financial education, not financial advice: it teaches how to run a budget and read statements, never what to buy, sell, or invest in; no products are named and no returns are promised; tax specifics belong to a tax professional, and a learner who needs advice for their own situation needs a licensed professional.

Customer Success & Retention
Most customers are not lost in a dramatic moment. They are lost slowly, in the ordinary months after a good sale — in an onboarding that taught buttons instead of outcomes, in check-ins that carried nothing, in a drift nobody named until the renewal arrived and the customer had already decided, quietly, months earlier.
This course teaches the other way of working the post-sale relationship: proactive, owned, and honest. You will learn how to receive a customer from sales with every promise intact, how to onboard against the diagnosis that sold them rather than against a generic checklist, and how to record the customer's own definition of success so you have something true to steer by.
You will learn to watch for drift while it is still a conversation, to run business reviews that report the whole truth, to surface problems before the customer finds them, and to handle the at-risk account without panic tactics.
The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Enterprise Account Management
An enterprise account is not a large deal that lasts a long time. It is a different kind of work. You are responsible for a small book of large, strategic accounts — relationships with many stakeholders, and a history that began before you arrived and will continue after you leave.
Revenue is significant, and so is the damage when trust breaks. Most account management fails quietly: a plan written in the seller's language, a map that is really a list of friendly names, a presence that appears only when a purchase is near, and growth pursued because the account is large rather than because the diagnosis supports it.
This course teaches the other way: know the account's world and business, map its people and decision structure honestly, write a plan in the customer's terms you could show the customer, stay present between purchases, run reviews that tell the truth, name risk early, and grow the account only where the evidence supports it.
The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Finance for Non-Financial Managers
The Lighthouse Coach now teaches managers to read and use the business's finances: reading a P&L line by line and a balance sheet in plain terms, explaining margins, break-even, and why cash is not profit, building a budget from stated assumptions and explaining a variance without excuses, and making the business case for a hire, purchase, or project — costs whole, benefits honest, break-even shown.
This is financial education, not financial advice: every company and figure in the course is fictional and illustrative, and the course works on your own department's numbers throughout — bring real statements and budgets, anonymized: change the names, change the figures, keep the shape of the problem.

Inventory Management
The Lighthouse Coach now teaches operations managers, business owners, and supply chain professionals how to take control of stock: implementing inventory tracking systems that reduce shrinkage, forecasting demand and planning purchasing cycles accurately, reducing carrying costs without risking stockouts, and using data to make smarter inventory decisions.
Every worked number is computed in the open from the learner's own figures; no benchmark statistics are cited as facts about the world, and tools are described by role, never by brand. The standard methods are named correctly — cycle counting, ABC classification, moving-average forecasting and forecast-error checks, lead time, reorder point, safety stock, and economic order quantity with its assumptions stated.

Pricing & Value Conversations
Most sellers can present a product and survive a friendly meeting. The conversation that undoes them is the one about money. The price comes out late, or fragmented, or wrapped in apology. The customer asks for a discount and the seller either gives one before the sentence has finished — teaching the customer that the first price was theater — or digs in so hard that a question about scope becomes a quarrel about character.
Procurement arrives with its own discipline and the seller treats a professional process as a personal attack. And underneath all of it sits the quietest failure of all: the seller does not believe his own price, because the price was never built on anything — not on the customer's confirmed need, not on what that need already costs them, not on a scope he can defend line by line.
The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Prospecting & Pipeline Management
Most pipelines fail before the first real selling conversation begins — and then fail again, quietly, for months, inside a board nobody trusts. Prospecting is aimed at whoever can be found rather than at people the seller can plausibly serve. Outreach borrows familiarity it has not earned and urgency that does not exist. First conversations qualify on hope: the prospect was friendly, the company is the right size, the budget is assumed because asking felt awkward. Then the board takes over the lying. Stages advance because time passed. Close dates roll because moving them hurts.
Deals that ended weeks ago stay open because closing them out would make the board look thin — so the board stays full, the forecast stays confident, and the seller, looking at a full board, stops doing the one thing that would have saved the quarter: prospecting for real opportunities.
The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Renewals, Upsells & Expansion Revenue
Most growth inside existing accounts fails in one of two quiet ways. The renewal is treated as a formality — assumed, invoiced, and defended only when it wobbles — until a customer who was never re-earned leaves for reasons nobody in the vendor's building ever heard. Or the expansion is treated as an entitlement — a bigger tier, a second product, more seats — offered because the contract allows it and the target requires it, into an account whose first purchase has not yet done what it was sold to do.
This course teaches the other way of growing an account: earn the renewal on the record, and earn the expansion on a diagnosis. You will learn how to build the record of delivered value before the renewal conversation, how to run an honest renewal review on the customer's calendar, how to state a price change plainly and early, and how to handle a renewal at risk without panic tactics.
The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Sales Coaching for Managers
Most sales management is the management of numbers about selling, conducted by people who rarely watch any selling happen. The manager studies the pipeline, questions the forecast, urges more activity, and wonders why the same sellers keep losing the same deals in the same way.
This course teaches the other half of the job: coaching. You will learn how to observe real calls and ride-alongs without distorting them, how to keep evidence a seller can recognize as true, and how to diagnose — before you coach anything — whether a problem is skill, will, or situation, because each of those three gets a different response and the wrong response does damage.
You will learn to build a coaching plan around one skill at a time, to run practice that prepares a seller for a real moment rather than performing for the room, and to give feedback that lands because it is specific, timely, and tied to evidence you both saw.
The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Sales Excellence
The Lighthouse Coach now teaches working salespeople, founders who sell, and professionals who must win clients the consultative way of selling: understand the customer before you pitch, ask questions that find the real need and listen for the answer, present value in the customer's terms and treat objections as information, and close cleanly, follow through, and earn the long relationship.
This course teaches ethical selling only: no manipulation tactics, no pressure closes, no deception, and no manufactured urgency — trust is not a tactic here, it is the strategy.

Selling to Senior Executives
Most selling to senior executives fails before the meeting begins — in a request for time that gives the executive no honest reason to grant it, in preparation that covers the seller's product and nothing of the executive's world, or in a first ten minutes spent describing a company the executive did not ask to hear about.
This course teaches the other way of selling at the top: earning and keeping a senior conversation on merit. You will learn how executives actually decide — through the numbers they answer for, the risks they carry, and the people their decision must survive. You will learn to understand an executive's real agenda before you ask for an hour of it, to get the meeting on honest merits, and to prepare deeply enough to survive questions that end other sellers' meetings.
The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Service Recovery: Winning Back Unhappy Customers
Every firm fails a customer eventually. A delivery is missed, a charge is wrong, a promise made in good faith is broken by an ordinary Tuesday. What separates firms is not whether failure happens — it is what the customer meets in the hour after it. Too often they meet defense, delay, a remedy designed in a back room without them, or a cheerful voucher for the very service that just failed them.
This course teaches the other response: a recovery conversation run without defense, in which the customer is heard to the end, the harm is acknowledged in their own terms, the firm's part is owned plainly, and the remedy is agreed with the customer rather than handed down to them. Then it teaches the system behind the conversation: following through until the customer confirms the matter is closed, documenting the failure honestly, finding its root cause, and coaching the team so the lesson survives the week it was learned in.
The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

The Trusted Advisor: Building Client Relationships That Last
Most advisory relationships fail quietly, and not for lack of expertise. The advisor knew the subject. What the client slowly learned was something else: that unwelcome news arrived late or softened, that recommendations had a way of pointing toward work the advisor could sell, that things told in confidence had a way of surfacing elsewhere, that small promises were approximate.
Nothing dramatic happened. The calls simply came later and later in the client's decision — after the choice was nearly made, when the advisor was being informed rather than consulted — and then they stopped coming early at all.
This course teaches the other record. You will learn how a client decides, over time, whom to call before a decision is fully formed: by watching whether your candor costs you anything, whether your advice ever runs against your own interest, whether a confidence is safe with you on your worst day, and whether your judgment about their world keeps proving right.
The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

AI for Customer Service
Customer service now runs with a fast, fluent, unreliable assistant sitting beside every representative — drafting replies before the representative has finished reading, summarizing contacts nobody has time to summarize, answering policy questions with complete confidence whether the answer is right or invented. Used well, that assistant gives the human back the time the work actually needs: time to listen, to understand the customer's real situation, to solve the problem instead of transcribing it.
Used carelessly, it does the opposite damage at greater speed — invented policies sent in the company's name, refunds promised that nobody approved, a grieving customer answered in cheerful boilerplate, and a customer who believed they were talking to a person discovering they were not.
This course teaches the well-used version.
The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

AI for Finance & Accounting Teams
Finance work has always had two speeds at once. There is the drafting speed — first versions of reports, schedules pulled together, variances described, forecasts assembled, procedures written down — where the work is slow because starting is slow and sorting is slow. And there is the signing speed, which must never get faster at the expense of being right, because a finance number does not become approximately true by being delivered on time. AI helps enormously at the first speed and threatens the second if it is allowed to blur the line between them.
This course teaches the finance professional to take the help and hold the line: to use AI for drafting, sorting, summarizing, extracting, and suggesting — the work where a good first version saves hours — while keeping verification, judgment, approval, and signature exactly where they have always belonged, with a named human checking against source records.
The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

AI for Human Resources
HR work is drafting work and judgment work, piled on the same desk, on the same day. The drafting is endless: job descriptions, postings, outreach, interview packs, offer and rejection letters, onboarding plans, handbook language, training outlines, meeting summaries, messages about change, messages about loss. The judgment is irreplaceable: who is a fit and why, what a policy should actually say, how a hard message should be worded so a real person can receive it, what may be shared and what must never leave the room.
AI tools are genuinely useful for the first pile and genuinely dangerous when they drift into the second — and they drift by default, because a tool that can draft a summary can also, in the same tone of voice, draft a ranking, a rejection, and a reason.
This course teaches you to hold the line between the piles while taking the real help on offer.
The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

AI for Marketing Teams
Marketing is the function where AI's strengths and AI's dangers arrive in the same sentence. The tools can produce a draft in seconds — a landing page, an email sequence, a month of social posts, a summary of what customers are saying — and every one of those drafts can carry, buried in fluent prose, a claim nobody checked, a number nobody can source, a customer who does not exist.
The marketer's problem is no longer producing material. Material is cheap now. The problem is producing material the brand can stand behind, at the new speed, without the checking becoming the bottleneck or the casualty.
This course teaches that discipline end to end. You will learn to use AI for audience and market research with verification built in, to generate ideas you can genuinely own, to draft across web, email, social, and advertising formats from one true brief, and to edit machine output back into a human voice — your brand's voice.

AI for Operations & Process Improvement
Most process improvement with AI fails before any tool is opened — not because the tool could do nothing useful, but because nobody looked at the process first. A step is automated because it looked automatable in a demonstration. The procedure manual is trusted instead of the work. The queue nobody mapped grows in the dark.
The inputs are a mess, so the outputs are a faster mess, now produced with confidence. Exceptions have nowhere designed to go, so they go to whoever is nearest, at whatever hour, by whatever private method. And when quality slips, there is no baseline to slip from and no way back.
This course teaches improvement as a process discipline: watch the work as it actually runs; map steps, handoffs, and queues; find the friction, waiting, and rework; take a simple honest baseline; decide step by step where a tool genuinely fits and where a step must stay human; redesign with the tool inside the workflow; place human checkpoints where errors are caught cheapest; design exceptions for the bad day; hold quality by sampling real output; test small before you roll out; write the standard work; teach the people who run it; watch for drift;
and refuse the steps that should not be automated.
The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

AI for Sales Teams
Selling has always contained two kinds of work. One kind only a person can do: earn a customer's trust, hear what a hesitation actually carries, tell the truth when the truth is expensive. The other kind — gathering background before a call, turning scattered notes into a brief, drafting the first version of a follow-up, keeping the pipeline record clean — consumes the seller's week while adding nothing the customer can feel, except when it is done badly and a wrong fact or a careless sentence reaches them.
This course teaches you to hand the second kind to AI, under discipline, and to keep the first kind entirely your own. You will learn to research an account with verification, prepare discovery and brief a meeting from evidence, draft outreach you can sign honestly, run follow-up and proposals from a confirmed diagnosis, prepare for objections without scripting deception, and keep records a customer could read out loud.
The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

AI Governance, Risk & Responsible Use
AI tools entered most organizations the way weather enters a building — through every opening at once, before anyone wrote the rules for them. People are already pasting, summarizing, drafting, and deciding with them, in work customers will see and in records the organization must stand behind.
This course teaches the other order of events: rules first, written plainly enough to follow, and then the habits that keep the rules alive. You will learn to name AI risk in plain terms, write an acceptable-use standard and data rules by class, vet and approve tools on the record, put a named human owner on every output, set review points before work leaves the building, and disclose AI use to customers without hiding or apologizing.
The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Leading AI Adoption
Most AI adoption fails before any tool is opened — not because the tool could not do anything useful, but because nobody led the choices that make usefulness possible. A license is bought. An announcement is made. Enthusiasts experiment, skeptics wait, confidential material drifts toward a tool nobody governed, work is produced whose owner no one can name, and months later a leader asks for the return and receives anecdotes. Your own adoption is the course material.

Measuring AI Results: From Pilots to Proof
Every funded pilot eventually meets the same meeting. The money was approved, the tool was used, the team has stories, the dashboard has colour — and someone with the right to ask says, plainly: is it working? Most pilots cannot answer, not because nothing happened, but because nobody decided beforehand what working would mean, what it would be measured against, or what evidence would settle it.
This course teaches measurement as a sponsor's discipline: claims made testable, baselines taken before the change, outputs separated from outcomes, every cost counted — licenses, time, review burden, and rework — confounders named, quality and risk standing beside every speed measure, real adoption measured in depth and breadth, and kill, fix, and scale criteria written before launch. Then the harder half: the evidence pack a board can rely on, the review meeting held to a verdict, what you championed killed when the criteria say to, and bad news reported upward straight, early, and whole.
The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Prompt Skills for Professionals
Most professionals now keep an AI assistant open all day, and most use it the way they would use a search box — a quick question, a quick answer, and whatever comes back goes out under their name.
This course teaches prompting as a professional discipline: specifying the job so completely the assistant can actually do it — task, context, constraints, criteria, and format settled before the first word comes back; iterating against a standard instead of accepting the first plausible draft; verifying every fact, figure, and quotation the tool returns, because the tools invent confidently and the name on the work is yours; protecting the material that never goes into a prompt in any form, for any deadline; and building a personal library of patterns you own and improve.
It closes the only way the subject honestly can: the output is a draft you own — the assistant signs nothing.
The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Your Colleague, the Machine
The Lighthouse Coach now teaches working professionals the disciplined way to work with AI tools: explaining what the tools actually are — and are not — in plain terms, framing a request clearly and iterating until the output is useful, verifying facts, figures, and names before anything leaves your desk, and protecting confidential information while owning everything you sign — ask well, check everything, then stand behind what carries your name.
This is an education course, not legal or compliance advice: confidentiality guidance stays general, your employer's policy governs, and no AI output — including this Coach's — is reliable unverified.

Coach Effectiveness Learning
The Lighthouse Coach now teaches aspiring and practicing coaches the coaching craft as a discipline: the agreement before the coaching, presence and listening at depth, powerful questions that unlock the client's own answers, and conversations structured to produce results the client can see — relationship first, then conversation.
This course teaches the competency areas the ICF describes publicly, in Cognosco's own words; it is not an ICF-accredited or ICF-approved program and carries no credential credit.

Emotional Intelligence at Work
The Lighthouse Coach now teaches working professionals to work the second system every workplace runs on — the feelings moving through the people doing the work: know your own emotional patterns and catch them early, manage your reactions under pressure without suppressing them, read other people accurately — and check what you read before you act on it — and handle difficult emotions in teams and repair after friction.
This is a workplace skill course, not therapy, counseling, or treatment: it teaches no diagnosis of yourself or anyone else, and a colleague listens, supports, and refers — a colleague does not treat.

Managing Motivation & Performance
The Lighthouse Coach now teaches managers who already supervise the performance level two: what actually drives people — the two engines of motivation, autonomy, mastery, and purpose, fairness, and what pay can and cannot do — and then the weekly system that runs on it: expectations that stretch, feedback that lands and holds the line, recognition matched to the person, and the honest conversation carried all the way.

Onboarding Excellence: The First 90 Days
Most onboarding fails quietly, and it fails early — not with a dramatic resignation, but with a newcomer who spends the first week waiting for a login, a clear task, and a straight answer about what good work looks like here, and who learns instead that nobody had thought about their arrival until they arrived. The cost of that lesson is paid for months.
This course teaches the other way: onboarding designed as a full ninety days, planned before day one and run by named people with distinct jobs. You will learn how to clarify the role before the newcomer starts, build a first day around belonging and clarity, put the role and its expectations in writing, choose and brief a buddy whose job is different from the manager's, give the first week real work that can actually be finished, and hold the manager's early conversations at set intervals rather than by accident.

Recognition That Works
Most recognition fails before the words are chosen — in the days before, when the manager's attention was somewhere else and the good work happened unobserved, unrecorded, and in the end unmentioned.
This course teaches the other kind: recognition built on noticed work. You will learn to run your attention like an instrument — to see the specific act, the standard it met, and the effect it had — and to say it precisely, close to the work, in the form the person in front of you can actually take in.
You will learn to find the quiet and backstage work that never announces itself, to recognize effort honestly when the outcome failed, and to hold the line that keeps recognition worth anything at all: it must be true, it must be fair over time, and it must never be spent as a substitute for fair pay, a fair workload, or a hard conversation owed.

Team Building
The Lighthouse Coach now teaches managers and team leads how to turn a group of individuals into a truly cohesive, high-performing team: identifying the strengths in the room and placing people where they count, establishing shared goals and accountability, resolving friction at the team level through clarity and working agreements, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Working Across Generations
Most workplaces now hold four generations in daily working contact — and a fifth, mostly retired, still present at the edges — and most teams have never once talked honestly about what that mix does to how they communicate, give feedback, run meetings, share knowledge, and judge each other.
Instead they trade quiet assumptions: the older colleague is "resistant," the younger one is "entitled," the mid-career manager is "stuck." Those assumptions are usually wrong about the person, often unfair, and always expensive — they misdirect work, withhold opportunity, and turn solvable differences of habit into unsolvable verdicts about character.
Your own team is the course material.

Financial Services Team Leadership
Frontline leadership in financial services carries a weight other frontline work does not. Your team handles other people's money, other people's information, and other people's trust — often in the same transaction, often under time pressure, often with a customer watching who cannot check the work for themselves. When the work is done carelessly, the customer may not know for days. When it is done dishonestly, the customer may not know at all — until they do, and then they know everything about the institution that employed you.
This course teaches you to lead that team: to make accuracy and honesty the visible, ordinary way the work is done; to run the day — the huddle, the priorities, the coaching, the targets — inside the conduct line; to surface and correct errors toward the customer first; and to develop people and raise concerns early, in a licensed environment where trust is not a value on a wall but the product itself.
The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Frontline Leadership Essentials
Most workplaces are led, in practice, by the person standing on the floor at the start of the shift — the supervisor who assigns the work, gives the briefing, walks the floor, notices the problem, corrects the mistake, and writes the note the next shift reads.
This course teaches that job as a discipline: knowing your crew well enough to assign work to the person who can actually carry it; assigning clearly, briefing briefly, and coaching and correcting without humiliation; holding safety and quality as leadership acts, not paperwork; and leading across shifts you are not present for — through handovers, written briefings, one standard held at every hour, and fair treatment that survives the rota.
It closes with the judgment every supervisor needs most: what is yours to handle, what goes straight to HR and the formal process, and a first ninety days built on a standard you sign.
The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Healthcare Team Leadership
Care is delivered by teams, and teams are led — well or badly — in the ordinary moments nobody puts on a poster. A handoff that drops the one detail that mattered. A huddle that wastes the only ten minutes the team had together.
A roster everyone knows is unfair and nobody will say so about. A junior voice that saw something, weighed the rank in the room, and stayed quiet. A good clinician carrying a bad outcome alone because the leader did not know what to say, so said nothing. None of these is a clinical failure.
Every one of them is a leadership failure, and every one of them reaches the patient eventually, because in healthcare the condition of the team becomes the condition of the care.
The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Hospitality Leadership & Guest Experience
Most guest experiences do not fail at the moment the guest notices. They fail earlier — in a roster built for the night the leader wished for, in a standard announced by poster and never translated into anything a person can do at seven on a Friday, in a department protecting its own corner while the guest's evening falls between the corners, in a team member who knows exactly what would fix a failure and has no authority to do it.
This course teaches the other way of leading a house. You will learn to build a standard the guest can feel, in observable terms your team helped set and can keep. You will learn to read tonight honestly — arrivals, events, covers, staffing, the gaps named while there is still time to act on them — and to align the whole house in a briefing that earns its minutes.

Logistics & Warehouse Team Leadership
Most warehouse days are lost before the first task begins — in a plan built from yesterday's volumes, labor assigned by habit to areas that will starve or drown by mid-morning, and a handover in which the one fact that mattered was never said.
This course teaches the other way: see the day whole first. You will learn to read the inbound and outbound picture together, to match people honestly to the work that is actually coming, and to run handovers between areas, stages, and shifts that lose nothing.
You will learn to build accuracy into the work itself — because the customer never meets your warehouse, only its errors or its care — and to walk the floor as a leader who sees work as it is done, not as it is reported. You will learn to bring new and temporary hands to a real standard with respect, and to hold safety inside every decision.

Manufacturing Supervisor Skills
The tools stopped being the product. The day became the product: a plan that fits the people and the machines actually available, a standard held the same way at the start of the shift and at the tired end of it, problems named while they are still small, and a team that gets stronger at the work instead of merely older at it.
You will learn to start a shift with a real plan and hand it over clean, to know your people and their stations well enough to staff honestly, to walk the floor in a way that sees real work rather than a performance of it, to protect quality at the source where it is made, and to solve and escalate problems without punishing the person who surfaced them.

Personal Trainer Effectiveness Coaching
The Lighthouse Coach now teaches personal trainers and fitness professionals the coaching half of the profession: using coaching psychology to drive client motivation, setting and tracking goals that keep clients engaged long-term, handling client setbacks and resistance constructively, and building a referral-worthy coaching practice — know the person, set the goal, keep the score honestly, then play the long game through setbacks and resistance to a practice worth referring.
This is coaching and communication craft only: no exercise programming and no nutrition prescription, and pain, injury, medical conditions, or distress around food or body route to the appropriate professionals.

Retail Team Leadership
Most stores do not fail in the big moments. They drift in the ordinary ones — the leader in the office while the floor thins out, the Saturday planned like a Tuesday, the new hire shadowing nobody in particular, the standard everybody can recite and nobody has seen kept lately.
This course teaches the other way of running a store: from the floor. You will learn to place yourself where the work and the customers actually are, plan the day around the rhythm customers bring with them, and hold standards a customer could see kept.
You will learn to run a five-minute huddle that is honest, schedule a part-time workforce fairly, and put people at the stations where their strengths do the most good. By the end of this program, you will have a complete, practical way of leading a store — visible, fair, and honest — and a written retail standard of your own to run it by.

Safety Leadership on the Floor
Most floor leaders did not set out to teach anybody anything about safety. They set out to run a shift and get their people home in the condition they arrived in. But teaching is what the job does whether the leader intends it or not.
Every shift, the team watches the one person whose behavior tells them what is actually true here — what gets noticed, what gets thanked, what gets corrected, and what gets quietly allowed when the day is busy. A leader who walks past a problem three times has taught a lesson no toolbox talk will undo.
This course teaches the other kind of teaching, deliberately.

Cybersecurity Awareness for Every Employee
Most attacks on ordinary organizations do not begin with a master hacker battering a firewall. They begin with a message that looked routine, a voice that sounded familiar, a sign-in page that looked right, a helpful stranger at the door — and one busy employee who did the reasonable-looking thing at speed.
This course teaches cybersecurity as an employee discipline: recognizing the con in every channel it arrives by — email, text, voice, video, in person, and at home — locking your accounts properly with passwords that hold and a second lock that actually locks, handling data and devices with the care their contents deserve, and responding, when something goes wrong, fast and without shame. Your own inbox and habits are the course material.

Ethics Learning
The Lighthouse Coach now teaches individuals and teams to work the gray areas of business with integrity: identifying ethical issues in everyday situations, applying ethical frameworks to real-world decisions, creating a team culture of honesty and accountability, and understanding legal and regulatory compliance basics — taught in general terms only, not legal advice, with specific legal questions routed to your company's own Legal or Compliance function. Respectful Workplace & Harassment Prevention
A respectful workplace is not a mood, a poster, or a personality type. It is a conduct standard: a set of expectations about how people speak to each other, include each other, and use — or refuse to use — power over each other, which holds on good days and bad ones, in the office and on the screen, for the newest hire and the highest performer alike.
This course teaches that standard plainly. Your own moments are the course material — anonymized absolutely.

Anger Management
The Lighthouse Coach now teaches anyone who wants to take control of their emotional life and build lasting balance how to govern their anger: identifying personal anger triggers and early warning signs, applying de-escalation techniques in the moment, replacing reactive patterns with intentional responses, and improving relationships through emotional regulation.
This is a self-management skills course, not therapy, and not a substitute for any court-ordered, employer-mandated, or professionally led anger management program; its completion certificate is a course certificate and carries no standing for legal or mandated purposes. Anger involving violence, threats, coercion, or fear in a household is not a self-help topic — it belongs with professional help, and where anyone is unsafe, with emergency help.

Building Your Self-Esteem
The Lighthouse Coach now teaches anyone who wants to develop genuine, lasting self-confidence from the inside out how to build it: identifying and reframing limiting beliefs, building confidence through action and evidence, communicating assertively without aggression, and cultivating a growth mindset. This is a personal-development skills course, not therapy and not treatment; it diagnoses nothing.
The help line is taught as a skill in its own right — knowing the point past which professional help is the right move, and that seeking it is strength, not failure. The course works from the learner's own evidence, not affirmations, and cites no statistics or research claims.

Create New Paradigms
The Lighthouse Coach now teaches leaders and change agents how to work on the organization's shared, unspoken rules — paradigm-led change: recognizing and challenging limiting organizational paradigms, applying creative thinking frameworks to real business problems, leading teams through transformational change, and building a culture that embraces innovation and reinvention. The skill is taught on original scenarios; widely known paradigm shifts are alluded to only in general terms, and no named-company case history is presented as fact.

Critical Thinking
The Lighthouse Coach now teaches professionals to think with the quality control on: separating claims from evidence and testing both before believing either, surfacing the assumptions hiding under any argument — including your own — spotting the reasoning traps that derail memos, meetings, and decisions as named patterns you can catch in the room, and steelmanning the other side while naming, in advance, what would change your mind.
This course works on your actual thinking throughout: bring a real decision — a memo you must judge, a recommendation you must defend, a meeting you must think through — anonymized where it needs to be, and the Coach makes you audit it, concept by concept, until the reasoning holds; change the names, change the figures, keep the shape of the problem.

Data-Driven Decision-Making
The Lighthouse Coach now teaches professionals to decide with evidence: framing the decision before the data and stating what evidence would change your mind, knowing what every metric counts — its definition, its denominator, its base rate — reading averages, distributions, comparisons, and charts honestly, including how charts mislead, and presenting a data-backed recommendation with its limits in the open, then updating it when the evidence changes.
The course works on your actual decisions throughout and cites no real-world research findings: every worked example uses illustrative numbers, and every computation is shown step by step so you can check the arithmetic yourself.

Inner Game for Athletes
The Lighthouse Coach now teaches competitive athletes, coaches, and sports professionals the inner game of performance: developing mental toughness and resilience, using visualization and pre-performance routines, managing competitive anxiety and pressure, and building a winning mindset — the mental game taught as a trainable margin of rehearsed skills that protect the preparation you have actually done, with no promise of outcomes, selections, or wins.
This is a skills course for the ordinary psychology of competition, not treatment for anything: distress that persists, interferes with daily functioning, or raises any safety concern belongs with a licensed professional.

Pick Up Anything
Most adults study the way they were taught to study in school, and most of it does not work. They read and re-read. They highlight. They watch the training video twice and feel the warm familiarity of the second viewing and mistake it for knowledge. Then the day comes — the new system goes live, the certification exam opens, the customer asks the question the manual covered — and the knowledge is not there, because it never was: familiarity is not retention, and exposure is not skill.
This course replaces that inherited method with a deliberate one.
The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Parent Effectiveness Coaching
The Lighthouse Coach now teaches parents the communication skills that build deep, lasting connections with their children: communicating in ways that build connection, setting boundaries that are firm, fair, and consistent, navigating conflict with your child constructively, and fostering independence and emotional intelligence in children — connection first, then structure with a steady hand, and repair when a parent has lost it.
This is communication-skills coaching for parents, not family therapy: it does not diagnose or label any child, and where a family faces harm, neglect, or danger it routes immediately to professional and protective help.

Personal Life Coaching
The Lighthouse Coach now teaches anyone ready to stop drifting how to design their own life: defining their vision and setting meaningful goals, identifying and removing the obstacles holding them back, building habits and systems that create consistent progress, and developing accountability structures that keep them on track — the learner in the client's chair, coached through their own life, finishing with a written personal roadmap.
This is a coaching course, not therapy; it does not diagnose, treat, or do trauma work. Persistent distress, crisis, or anything that interferes with daily functioning is not coaching territory — it routes to a licensed professional, and going there is strength, not failure.

Problem-Solving & Decision-Making
The Lighthouse Coach now teaches managers and team leaders a structured toolkit for solving problems and deciding well: defining problems clearly, identifying root causes, evaluating options using decision matrices, eliminating cognitive biases, and building consensus — so they can make confident decisions with incomplete information.

Resilience at Work
The Lighthouse Coach now teaches professionals under sustained pressure to hold through the long quarter: reading your load honestly and telling a bad week from a long-quarter trend, treating recovery as part of the work and pacing for the stretch you are in, reframing setbacks into a truer story — never into forced cheer — and shrinking the overwhelming whole to the next sound step, then building the team practices that carry weight in the open: workload honesty, mutual cover, and after-action learning.
This is a work-practice course only — habits, mindset practices, and team practices — not medicine, not therapy, and not a substitute for care, with the help line drawn in advance for the point where professional help is the next step.

Stress Management
The Lighthouse Coach now teaches professionals who are tired of operating in survival mode to manage stress by design: identifying their primary stress sources and triggers, applying mindfulness — taught as a plain attention practice — and relaxation techniques daily, building boundaries that protect their energy and focus, and developing a personalized stress management plan.
This is a self-management skills course, not medicine: it does not diagnose or treat anything, and persistent symptoms, symptoms interfering with daily functioning, or safety concerns belong with a healthcare professional — the course teaches that help line as a skill, and no technique is a substitute for a survivable workload.
There are no statistics here: the learner's own mapped evidence is the authority.

Time Management
The Lighthouse Coach now teaches anyone who feels overwhelmed or overcommitted to protect their time: prioritizing with proven frameworks including the Eisenhower Matrix, building a daily planning routine, time-blocking the important work, eliminating time thieves and distraction patterns, and working in focused deep work sessions. “Achieve more while working less” is shorthand — the course stops hours leaking into work that did not matter and protects the important work; no technique creates an hour. There are no invented productivity statistics here: the only numbers are the ones you count from your own week.

Vitality, Health & Well-Being
The Lighthouse Coach now teaches professionals who want to thrive over the long term, not just sprint from deadline to deadline, how to build the foundation: building sustainable habits across nutrition, sleep, and exercise, understanding the connection between physical health and performance, creating a personal well-being plan they can actually stick to, and preventing burnout with proactive energy management.
This is a habits education course only, not medical advice, not diagnosis, and not treatment; it offers no numeric health prescriptions, names no diets or protocols, and gives no supplement advice. Symptoms, conditions, and persistent difficulties route to the learner's own healthcare professional.

Retention Conversations: Keeping Your Best People
Good people rarely leave suddenly. They leave gradually, in a sequence of small, readable moments — a growth conversation postponed three times, a workload that became unreasonable and stayed that way, a decision that landed unfairly and was never explained, a future they could no longer picture inside the organization — and then, one day, they resign, and the manager is surprised.
This course teaches the other way of managing: retention as a standing conversation. You will learn what each of your best people is building toward, how to hold a stay conversation while things are good, how to treat workload and fairness as the retention facts they are, and how to read early signals without spying or panicking.
The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Psychological Safety: Teams That Speak Up
Problems in a team are almost never first known at the top. They are known at the bench, at the desk, on the call — by the person closest to the work, usually long before the cost becomes visible to anyone senior. Whether that knowledge travels is a calculation, made silently by every person on the team, every day: what happened the last time someone here said the unwelcome thing, and what happened to them.
This course teaches the leader to change that calculation by changing his own observable behavior. You will learn to read the price of speaking as you set it, to govern the first seconds after bad news, to ask questions you do not already know the answer to, to run meetings where the junior person talks before consensus hardens, to separate a message from its messenger, to use what you hear so visibly that speaking is worth doing, and to be wrong in public without theater.
The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Career Growth Coaching
Most career conversations fail in one of two directions. In the first, the manager turns coach into cheerleader: everything is possible, every strength is remarkable, every gap will somehow take care of itself, and the person leaves warmed and entirely unhelped. In the second, the manager turns coach into gatekeeper: the conversation becomes a quiet negotiation about a promotion the manager may not even control, conducted in hints, and the person leaves having learned to bargain instead of to grow.
This course teaches the third way. You will learn to open a career conversation honestly, elicit what a person actually wants and test it against evidence, state strengths with proof and gaps with kindness and precision, draw the honest map of how advancement actually works in your organization, and build growth mostly through real work — the assignment that stretches, the exposure that teaches, the practice that compounds — rather than through courses about growth.
The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Building Team Trust
Most teams do not lose trust in a single dramatic betrayal. They lose it in small denominations: a promise made casually on Tuesday and forgotten by Friday, an assignment handed out in a way nobody can explain, credit that lands on the wrong desk, news the team hears from another department first, a confidence repeated in a corridor by someone who meant no harm.
Each incident is small enough to excuse. Together they write a record, and the team reads the record accurately even when no one says so out loud: people stop relying on each other, start keeping private copies and private workarounds, and do the careful, duplicated, guarded work that teams do when trust is gone.
This course teaches the other way of working.

Employee Engagement for Managers
Most engagement talk happens one level too high. Leaders discuss scores, programs, and campaigns, while engagement itself is being decided somewhere else entirely — in the daily experience of a person whose manager assigned unclear work on Monday, let an impossible load sit unspoken through Wednesday, and did not notice on Friday that the person had quietly stopped caring in the way that used to make their work good.
This course works at that level: the frontline and middle manager, the level at which engagement is actually created or destroyed day to day.
You will learn to see engagement in observable terms — what an engaged and a disengaging person actually do, say, and stop doing — and to trace what you see back to the conditions you partly control: whether the work is clear, whether the load is honest, whether the work is sized to a human, whether people have a voice in how their work is done, and whether you notice early enough to ask.
The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Belonging at Work: Building One Team
Most teams that struggle with belonging do not struggle with kindness. They struggle with distribution. Information reaches some members early and others late, or never. The assignments that build a reputation go to the same hands, for reasons that were sound once and then became habit. Credit lands where it is easiest to give it. The benefit of the doubt is extended freely inside the circle and sparingly outside it. And the informal life of the team quietly decides who is of it before any formal decision is made.
This course teaches you to see that distribution as it actually runs, to audit your own part in it honestly, and to widen the circle by changing the distributions themselves — in the open, on the same standards for everyone, without requiring anyone to become someone else to qualify.
The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Culture in Practice: Living the Values
Most organizations do not have the culture they describe. They have the culture their decisions describe. The values statement promises candor, and the person who brings bad news early is quietly sidelined. The values statement promises the customer first, and the bonus follows the sale that the customer will regret. The values statement promises teamwork, and the promotion goes, again, to the brilliant individual whose team keeps resigning. Nobody in these stories is lying, exactly. They printed what they hoped. They rewarded what they got.

Workplace Safety Awareness for Every Employee
Most workplace harm does not announce itself. It accumulates quietly inside routine work: the shortcut that worked the last dozen times, the awkward load carried because the proper help was two rooms away, the wet floor walked around instead of dealt with, the odd noise mentioned to no one, the report not filed because nothing quite happened.
This course teaches safety awareness as an employee discipline. You will learn to see hazards while they are still small and ordinary, to read your own state — fatigue, hurry, distraction — as part of the hazard, and to use the pause and the pre-task look before routine work begins.
You will learn to keep shared spaces safe for the next person, to speak up the first time in words that can be acted on, and to report concerns, near-misses, and incidents fast and without shame, in an honest account that says what you saw, what you did, and what you do not know.

De-escalation & Workplace Violence Prevention
Most workplace confrontations do not begin with violence. They begin with a person who is frustrated, frightened, disappointed, or overwhelmed, and with a small moment — a raised voice, a demand repeated, a refusal heard as disrespect — in which the temperature of the room rises and nobody in it quite knows how to bring it down.
This course teaches the conduct for that moment and the system around it. You will learn to read escalation early, while choices still work: the changes in voice, pace, language, and body that tell you a person is moving from upset to agitated, and the change in your own state that tells you the same about yourself.
You will learn the voice and words that lower temperature, the listening that lets a person feel heard without your agreeing to everything they demand, and the discipline of space — where you stand, how you keep an exit open, how you leave a conversation that has stopped being safe.

Data Privacy Basics for Every Employee
Nearly every job now touches other people's information. The register, the intake desk, the scheduling system, the inbox, the shared drive — names, addresses, account details, health and school and family facts, the ordinary material of other people's lives passes through ordinary employees' hands all day, usually without anyone pausing to notice what is being held.
Most privacy failures are not dramatic and not malicious. They are a form that asked for more than the work needed, a file sent to a wider audience than its purpose allowed, a record kept years past its usefulness, a helpful answer given to a caller who should never have received it.

Documentation & Recordkeeping for Managers
Most workplace records fail in the same quiet way: they were written later than they claim, softer or harder than the truth, or only about the parts their writer wanted remembered. The conversation that mattered was never written down at all. The note that does exist reads like a verdict — lazy, difficult, not a team player — with none of the observable facts that would let a fair reader judge for himself.
This course teaches the other way of keeping records. You will learn why records exist and who they protect, how to write at the time rather than from memory, how to put facts on the page instead of verdicts, and how to record conversations, ordinary events, and decisions completely — what was said, what was agreed, what was decided, and what was deliberately left open.

Substance Impairment Awareness at Work
Most workplaces do not lack a policy on impairment. They lack people who know what to do in the ninety seconds between noticing something is wrong and the policy becoming relevant. A colleague is unsteady on work that requires steadiness. A driver is slow and strange before a run that cannot afford slow and strange.
A dependable person is suddenly not dependable, in ways everyone nearby can see and nobody nearby will name. In that gap, untrained people do one of three things, all of them understandable and all of them wrong: they guess at a cause and accuse, they decide it is not their business and look away, or they quietly cover for the person and take on work nobody should be doing impaired nearby.
This course closes that gap. You will learn to recognize impairment as observable unfitness for the work at hand — behavior, stated plainly, with no diagnosis attached.

Fraud Awareness: Spotting & Reporting Red Flags
Most workplace fraud is not discovered by auditors descending from above. It surfaces, when it surfaces, because someone at an ordinary desk noticed something ordinary that did not line up — an invoice for work nobody remembers, a refund with no customer behind it, a count that is always adjusted and never explained — and said something through the proper channel instead of explaining it away.
This course trains that someone. Then you will learn the harder half: what to do with what you saw. How to preserve it without investigating it. How to report it through the designated channel — including when the concern points at someone senior, someone liked, or your own manager. How to keep your own hands clean of the small dishonesties that rehearse the big ones. And how to live correctly after you have reported, in the silence that follows, without scorekeeping, gossip, or second thoughts performed in public.

Social Media & Digital Conduct at Work
Almost everyone at work now carries a second workplace in a pocket: a feed where colleagues gather after hours, a group chat where the shift actually talks, a profile that names — or plainly identifies — the place they work, and an audience that can copy anything in a second and keep it forever. Most digital trouble at work does not come from villains.
It comes from decent people applying room rules to a space that is not a room: speaking as if only friends were listening, as if the words would fade like spoken words, as if a private account were a separate life, as if confidential were a label on a document rather than a quality of the information itself.
This course teaches the other way of being online.

Workplace Investigations: A Manager's Guide
Most workplace investigations fail before the first interview. They fail because the investigator never wrote down the question he was asked to answer, because he interviewed the person he liked first and believed him, because the relevant messages were deleted in the ordinary course of business while he was still deciding how to begin, because a witness was promised a secrecy no one could keep, or because the final report mixed what people said with what the investigator concluded until no reader could separate them.
None of those failures requires bad character. All of them are failures of method, and method can be taught.

Data Analytics for Managers
Every manager now works downstream of more data than any manager in history was asked to handle, and most were never taught how the numbers reaching them were made. The dashboard arrives already summarized. The analyst's deck arrives already charted. The vendor's report arrives already concluded. Between the raw records and the manager's desk sit a dozen quiet decisions — what counted, what was excluded, what was averaged, what the axis starts at — and each one shaped the story before the manager ever saw it.
This course teaches the manager to walk back down that path: to frame the question before anyone touches data, to work a table at spreadsheet level with his own hands, to summarize without hiding what matters, to read charts and claims with a checker's eye, and to present a finding with its limits stated as plainly as its result.

Agile Project Management
Some projects begin with most of what matters already known: the deliverable is understood, the path to it is established, and the work is to execute a sound plan with discipline. Other projects begin with the opposite condition — the deliverable is only partly understood, the people who will use it cannot fully describe what they need until they see something real, and the plan written in January is fiction by March.
Agile project management exists for the second condition. It replaces the single large delivery, planned in detail up front and revealed at the end, with a rhythm of small finished deliveries: an increment of real, usable work, produced in a short fixed cycle, shown to the people it serves, and used to steer what happens next.
This course teaches that rhythm as a craft.

Leading Shift Teams
Most shift problems are blamed on the shift where they are discovered. The morning finds the mess, the evening inherits the backlog, the night works around the fault nobody logged. Look closer and the failure is rarely inside one shift. It is at the boundary between them — in a handover that was rushed, a record that said less than the writer knew, a standard that changed with the light, a gap that was softened instead of escalated, a grievance carried for weeks instead of spoken in a day.
This course teaches leadership at that boundary. You will learn what a shift actually inherits, how to run the handover conversation and write the record that survives it, how to hold one standard across every shift, how to know the realities of shifts you do not lead, and how to say early and plainly what is short, what went wrong, and what the next team needs.

Compliance Essentials: The Manager's Playbook
Every company has a compliance program on paper — a code of conduct, a policy manual, a reporting line, a learning calendar. And every company actually runs on a second, unwritten program: what its managers do. What a manager rewards, the team repeats. What a manager signs without reading, the team learns to prepare carelessly.
This course teaches the second program: compliance as the working discipline of the person who supervises others.

Flourishing at Work
Most people know the difference between a working day that leaves them drained and flat and a working day that leaves them tired but well — and most have never been shown what actually makes the difference.
This course is about the psychological side of well-being at work: the meaning in the work, the feeling of being genuinely absorbed in it, the small good moments that lift a day, the people who make a workplace feel human, the satisfaction of finishing something that matters, and the recovery that keeps all of it possible week after week.
You will learn what actually drives well-being on the job and what merely looks as if it does, build daily practices that raise energy, mood, and meaning, strengthen connection and appreciation in your working relationships, and design your role and your week for sustainable engagement instead of slow burnout.
Nothing here depends on your employer buying anything, and nothing here asks you to pretend.

Fluent in Data: Data Confidence for Every Professional
Most professionals do not need to become analysts — they need to stop being misled by numbers and start using numbers well in the work they already do.
This course builds that confidence from the ground up: how to read charts, tables, and dashboards without being led by them, how to ask the right questions of any dataset, report, or claim, how to work cleanly with definitions, quality, averages, percentages, and the difference between correlation and cause, and how to turn numbers into a clear decision and a clear story that other people can act on.
Every idea is taught in plain language, with small numbers you can check by hand, so the skill transfers the next morning to the meeting, the inbox, and the report already waiting on your desk.

Excel Without the Headache: Beginner to Advanced
Almost every job now runs, in part, through a spreadsheet — a budget, a roster, a price list, an inventory count, a schedule, a set of results someone has to explain in a meeting. Yet most people were never actually taught to use one. They picked it up by watching a colleague, by copying an old file, by trial and error at eleven at night before a deadline.
This course ends that. It teaches the spreadsheet as a craft, in order: structure first, so the sheet is sound before anything is calculated; formulas second, so the numbers are produced by the sheet and not typed into it; answers third, so sorting, summarizing, and looking things up turn raw lists into decisions; and presentation last, so the finished work is clear, checked, and safe to hand to another person.

Financial Statement Analysis: Read the Numbers Like an Analyst
Financial statements are the most honest documents a business produces — and most people who receive them read only the bottom line.
This course teaches you to read all three statements together, the way an analyst does: the income statement for performance, the balance sheet for position, and the cash flow statement for proof.
You will learn to turn raw numbers into ratios, trends, and questions; to separate profit from cash and health from flattery; and to finish with a view of a company's performance, health, and risk that you can state plainly and defend line by line. The numbers throughout are small, round, and checkable by hand, because the skill being built is judgment, not calculator speed.

How Markets Actually Work
Most people meet financial markets through noise — a headline about a record high, a coworker talking about a stock, a retirement-plan statement full of names they never chose on purpose.
This course is the calm alternative an employer can offer its people: plain, accurate literacy about what markets are, what stocks, bonds, and funds actually are, what risk and diversification really mean, and how to build a steady long-term framework around goals, costs, and time horizon.
It assumes no prior knowledge and no money to invest yet. By the end, you will be able to read market news without being pushed around by it, understand the statement from your own retirement plan, and make your own decisions — slowly, in writing, and with both eyes open.

Code Without Becoming a Coder: Automate the Repetitive Work
Somewhere in your working week there is a task you have done fifty times and will do fifty more: renaming the files that arrive with the wrong names, copying figures from one spreadsheet into another in the same order every month, retyping the same letter with a different name and date, scrolling a web page and copying rows into a table by hand, moving attachments out of email into folders one at a time.
Each instance is small. Together they are hours of your professional life spent doing work a machine does flawlessly, instantly, and without boredom — while the work that actually needs your judgment waits.
This course teaches you to take that work back.

English That Opens Doors
Most international work now runs on English that belongs to no single country: a project call joins colleagues in São Paulo, Warsaw, Bangalore, and Toronto; a proposal written in Seoul is read in Amsterdam; a difficult negotiation is held, politely and precisely, between two people neither of whom is speaking their first language.
This course teaches that English — business English as clarity, courtesy, and confidence in real work situations. You will learn to write emails that get answered because the ask is unmistakable, to follow meetings and be followed in them, to present with a structure listeners can hold onto, to disagree firmly without giving offence, to build relationships through small talk that is small in size and large in effect, to write reports and proposals that carry weight, and — when misunderstanding happens, as it always does — to repair it quickly, gracefully, and without blame.

Cybersecurity Foundations: The Analyst Path
Every organization now runs on systems it only partly understands, watched by fewer people than the work requires, against opponents who need to succeed only occasionally while the defense must hold every day — and into that gap walks the entry-level security analyst, usually underprepared for what the job actually is.
This course is about what the job actually is. You will learn the ground analysts defend — how computers, services, networks, and identities fit together well enough that an attack has a shape you can see; how attackers actually work, stage by stage, motive to impact, studied strictly in order to defeat them; and what stands in their way and why — layers of controls, each chosen for a reason and each assumed to be fallible.

Machine Learning Demystified for Business Leaders
Machine learning has become the most confidently sold and least clearly understood purchase in modern business. Vendors present it as intelligence; headlines present it as destiny; and the leader in the middle — the person who must sign the contract, defend the budget, and explain the outcome to a board, a team, or a customer — is often given nothing more solid to stand on than a demonstration and a percentage.
This course exists to give that leader solid ground. It explains, in plain words and without a line of code, what machine learning actually is: a way of building systems that learn patterns from examples instead of following rules a programmer wrote. It shows how a model learns, why the data it learned from matters more than the cleverness of the method, and where the capability genuinely pays — in sorting, forecasting, and noticing at scale.
The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

The Help Desk in Your Head
Every organization now runs on computers, and every computer eventually fails in front of someone who has work to do. IT support is the craft that stands in that moment: a person who can understand what the machine is doing, find what has gone wrong without making it worse, fix what can be fixed, explain what happened in words the user can act on, and record the whole thing so the next person — or the same person, next month — starts ahead instead of starting over.
This course teaches that craft whole. You will learn how computers, operating systems, networks, and accounts fit together at the level a support professional must command — not engineering depth, but working depth, the depth that lets you reason about a fault instead of guessing at it. You will learn a troubleshooting method you can run on any problem: gather, isolate, test, fix, verify, document.
The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Digital Marketing Foundations
Digital marketing is not a pile of channels. It is one system: a defined audience, a clear promise, a path from first encounter to repeat purchase, places you own where that path runs, channels that carry people onto the path, a budget spent on purpose, and numbers that tell you whether any of it worked.
This course builds that system piece by piece, in the order a beginner actually needs it.
You will learn what each channel is for and what it is bad at, how to write a promise a stranger can understand in seconds, how a website and a landing page turn attention into orders, how content, email, social, and search each earn their place, what paid media can and cannot do, and how to read the small set of numbers — click-through rate, conversion rate, cost per acquisition, return on ad spend — that separate marketing from guessing.
The figures throughout are small, round, and checkable by hand, because the skill being built is judgment, not tool operation.
The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

UX Design Essentials
Every digital product makes a promise the moment someone opens it: you will be able to do the thing you came for. Some products keep that promise so quietly that users never think about the design at all. Others break it in a dozen small ways — a button that does not look like a button, a checkout that asks for the wrong thing at the wrong moment, an error message that blames the person holding the phone — and the user leaves, usually without complaining, usually for good.
This course teaches the discipline that separates those two outcomes.

Power BI: Dashboards That Drive Decisions
Power BI is easy to open and easy to misuse. In an afternoon, anyone can connect a spreadsheet, drag fields onto a canvas, and produce a page full of colorful charts — and in the same afternoon, without noticing, double-count revenue through a bad relationship, publish a truncated axis that manufactures growth, or share a file whose numbers quietly went stale last month.
This course teaches Power BI the way a careful professional actually uses it, in the order the work actually flows. You will learn to bring data in through connectors and shape it in Power Query so the cleaning happens once, on refresh, instead of by hand every week. You will learn how Power BI thinks about data — tables, relationships, grain, and the star schema — so your model helps you instead of ambushing you.

Excel for Analysts: Formulas, Pivots & Power Query
Analyst work begins where everyday spreadsheet work ends. The list is no longer six rows you can hold in your head. It arrives from another system, it grows every week, it contains spellings that almost match, dates stored as text, prices held on a different sheet, and questions that change the moment you answer the first one: total it by region, then by month, then show each region's share, then explain why March moved.
This course teaches that work in order.
First, formulas that are built to last — structured references that expand with a table, lookups that state what happens when a value is missing, conditional aggregation that answers a precise question in one line, and text and date logic that turns messy fields into groupable facts.
Second, summaries and pipelines — PivotTables grouped and sliced properly, PivotCharts drawn from reconciled summaries, and Power Query steps that clean imported data the same way every time instead of by hand every Monday.
The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

SQL for Business Analysts
Business analysts are the people a company asks when it wants to know something: Which customers bought most last quarter? Which product line is actually carrying the margin? Did the change in March move anything? Too often the honest answer is a wait — a request filed with a technical team, a spreadsheet assembled by hand from three exports, a figure copied from last month's deck because rebuilding it would take a day.
This course removes the wait. It teaches the working analyst to answer business questions directly, in SQL: to translate a question asked in plain words into a query, to filter, join, group, and total the underlying tables, to handle the missing values and messy duplicates that real tables contain, and — just as important — to check the result and hand it over in a form another analyst can audit.

Brand Management: Building Brands That Last
A brand is the asset that lives in customers' minds — the set of expectations, memories, and feelings that decide whether someone chooses you, pays what you ask, forgives a mistake, and comes back. It is not your logo, not your product, and not your advertising, though all three feed it.
This course teaches brand management as a working discipline for people who carry a real brand: how to decide what the brand stands for and who it is for, how to make it recognizable and worth choosing, how to know — with evidence, not folklore — whether it is getting stronger or weaker, and how to run it year after year without either freezing it in amber or chasing every fashion until nothing recognizable remains.
By the end, you will have worked a complete brand end to end in the capstones, and you will leave with an annual brand plan built on your own ground.

Social Media Marketing for Business
Social media is where your buyers already spend their attention — and where most businesses waste theirs, posting whatever comes to hand, chasing applause that never reaches the till, and calling the activity marketing.
This course teaches social media as a business discipline.
You will learn to decide what social is actually for in your business and what it is not for; to choose channels by where your audience truly is, not by fashion; to build content from your offer and your customer's real problem; to run pillars and a calendar instead of a daily scramble; to write for the feed with hooks, clarity, and proof; to handle visuals and short video with judgment; to treat comments, messages, and reviews as customer service done in public; to listen before you post;
and to know what organic work and paid work are each for.

Financial Analysis & Modeling
Every business tells its story twice: once in words, and once in numbers. The words are the pitch, the plan, the confident meeting. The numbers are what actually happened — what was sold, what it cost, what is owed, what is owned, and whether any cash survived the journey.
This course teaches you to read the second story fluently and then to write its next chapter honestly. You will learn how the three financial statements interlock, why profit is an opinion and cash is a fact, how margins, liquidity, leverage, and returns each answer a different question, and how to tell earnings you can trust from earnings that merely look good.
Then you will build: forecasts driven by the real engines of a business rather than by trend lines, integrated models in which the three statements move together, scenarios that show which assumptions own the answer, and valuations — by multiples and by discounted cash flow — stated with their limits attached.
The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Tableau & Data Storytelling
Anyone can get Tableau to draw something. The software will happily chart whatever you drop on a shelf, in whatever form flatters it most, whether or not the result is true, readable, or useful in the room where it will be judged.
This course teaches the other skill: building views that make honest data legible, and stories that move a room without moving the truth.
You will learn to start from the question rather than the chart gallery; to connect and shape data with its types intact; to use marks, color, labels, scales, and filters as instruments of honesty rather than emphasis; to write calculated fields that earn their place and level-of-detail expressions you can explain out loud; and then to carry finished views into dashboards and stories — sequencing one point per screen, annotating without pushing, presenting live under questions, critiquing another analyst's workbook fairly, and publishing a source other people can trust and maintain.

Data Science Literacy for Professionals
Every week, someone puts a number in front of you and asks you to act on it. A dashboard says sales are up. A vendor says its system is highly accurate. A report says customers who get one offer buy more than customers who do not. A chart rises to the right, beautifully, and the room nods.
Most of those claims are partly true. Some are true and still mislead. A few are wrong in ways that cost real money. Almost none of them can be judged from the headline alone — and judging them is now part of nearly every professional's job, whether or not the word data appears in the job title.

HR Essentials for People Managers
Most people problems at work do not start as HR problems. They start as a manager who hired in a hurry, welcomed a new person carelessly, let a standard slide for a month, wrote nothing down, and then discovered — in a tense meeting, with HR across the table — that there is no record, no shared expectation, and no fair way forward.
This course teaches the other path. You will learn where your authority as a manager begins and ends, how to hand work to HR and receive work back cleanly, how to interview and onboard so a new person can actually succeed, how to set expectations and give feedback while the work is still fixable, how to document facts in a way that helps everyone, and how to handle the moments where care and caution matter most: discipline, absence and leave, accommodation requests, complaints of unfair treatment, questions about pay and hours, and separations.

Grammar & Punctuation for Professionals
Ideas at work are judged twice: once on their merit, and once on the prose that carries them. The second judgment is faster, quieter, and often decisive. A reader who stumbles over a run-on sentence, a pronoun with no clear owner, or a comma that changes a sentence's meaning does not usually stop to diagnose the problem. The reader simply trusts the writer a little less and moves on.
This course works on that second judgment. You will learn how a sentence is built and how it breaks; how subjects and verbs agree when intervening words try to separate them; how pronouns, modifiers, and parallel structure keep meaning attached to the words that own it; how tense and voice stay consistent across a document; and how punctuation — commas, semicolons, colons, apostrophes, quotation marks, dashes, and parentheses — functions as a system of signals to a reader rather than as decoration.

Python for Data Analysis
Every working analyst lives between two failures. On one side is the spreadsheet rebuilt by hand every week — copied, pasted, eyeballed, and wrong in a way nobody finds until the meeting. On the other side is the clever script nobody can check — fast, automated, and trusted for no better reason than that it ran without an error message.
This course teaches you to work in the ground between those failures: Python used as an analyst's instrument, where every step is deliberate, every total is reconciled, and every output answers a question somebody actually asked.

AI Agents at Work: A Leader's Primer
An AI agent is software that does not merely answer — it acts. Given a goal, it gathers information, chooses a next step, uses tools, checks what happened, and continues until the job is done or it is stopped. That single difference — action, in a loop, over time — is why agents are more useful than the chat tools that came before them, and why they are more dangerous. A wrong answer costs you a correction. A wrong action costs you a refund, a customer, a compliance breach, or a record you cannot un-send.

SEO Essentials: Get Found Online
Someone in your town is, right now, standing in a flooded kitchen typing a few words into a phone. Whether your business appears in the next ten seconds — and whether what appears earns the call — is not luck, and it is not a mystery reserved for specialists. It is the result of decisions you can understand, audit, and improve without becoming a full-time search expert.
This course teaches search engine optimization the way an owner or a marketer actually needs it: how search engines build their answers, what a ranking is really rewarding, how to read the intent behind a search, how to choose the handful of searches worth winning, how local search differs from national search, how to build pages that deserve to rank, how to earn links and reviews without buying trouble, which technical problems actually hurt you and which are distractions, and how to tell — in calls, bookings, and revenue — whether any of it worked.

Paid Advertising I: Google Ads & Pay-Per-Click
Every second, people type what they want into a search box — a product, a fix, a price, a place — and in the fraction of a second before the results appear, an auction decides which advertisers may stand in front of that stated need, in what order, and at what price per click.
This course teaches you to work that auction as a buyer, not a gambler. You will learn to read search intent in a query, to work out what a click is worth before you bid on it, and to understand how the auction and its quality signals set the price you actually pay. You will build an account the way a good shop is built — one clear intent per shelf — with match types and negative keywords as your controls on what you do and do not pay for.

Paid Advertising II: Meta Ads That Pay Back
Search advertising answers a demand that already exists. Meta advertising must create a stop, an interest, and often a demand that did not exist thirty seconds earlier — and it must do so inside an auction that is not simply selling space to the highest bidder.
Meta's delivery system weighs what you bid, how likely a person is to take the action you chose, and how people respond to the ad itself, then decides, impression by impression, who sees what. You do not control that system directly. You control the instructions you give it: the objective and conversion event, the audience signals and seeds, the creative, the placements you allow, the budget and pacing, and the measurement you feed back to it.
This course teaches those instructions as one connected craft.

Supply Chain Management Essentials
Every business makes one promise twice. Once in words: we will have what you need, when you need it, at a price you can accept. And once in goods: a shelf that is either stocked or empty, a delivery that either arrives or does not, a bill that either leaves cash in the business or ties it up in boxes.
This course teaches you to keep the second promise. You will learn how demand actually behaves — as opposed to how a plan wishes it behaved — how to forecast it honestly and measure how wrong you were, what inventory really costs in all three of its costs, and how to choose a level of service on purpose instead of drifting into one by accident.
You will learn the reorder logic and the safety stock that protect a promise without bankrupting the business that makes it, and why lead times and variability, not averages, are where stockouts are born.

Financial Modeling & Valuation
Ask a room of businesspeople what a company is worth and you will hear everything except an answer: its revenue, its profit, what the founder turned down in 2019, what a competitor fetched, what the spreadsheet says to two decimal places. Valuation is the discipline that replaces those gestures with an argument.
This course teaches that discipline end to end. You will learn why a dollar next year is worth less than a dollar today — and by exactly how much, at a stated rate. You will build free cash flow from earnings, line by line, learning what must be subtracted before cash belongs to investors. You will choose a discount rate honestly, in a simplified but defensible form, and you will discount projected cash flows step by step until an enterprise value stands on the page.

Data Analysis with R
Every organisation tells its story twice: once in meetings, and once in its data. The meetings are confident. The data is what actually happened — what was ordered, what was returned, which customers came back, and which numbers quietly changed meaning halfway through the year.
This course teaches you to work the second story in R: to get data in without trusting it blindly, to shape it until each row means one thing, to summarise it without fooling yourself, to join tables without multiplying money, to choose charts that tell the truth at a glance, to fit a simple model and read it the way a careful manager should, and to hand the whole analysis to someone else as a reproducible report they can re-run and check.
R is the tool. Judgment is the subject. By the end, the code you write will be short — because the thinking in front of it will be doing the heavy lifting.

Speak to Anyone: Conversation Confidence
Most adults who say "I'm bad at conversation" are not bad at talking. Put them with one trusted person, on a subject they know, with no audience and no clock, and they talk perfectly well — they explain, they joke, they tell stories, they disagree and make up. What fails them is narrower and more specific: the unscripted moments. Approaching someone they do not know well. Opening when there is no obvious reason to speak. Keeping small talk alive past the second exchange without it dying of politeness. Asking a question that invites a real answer instead of a one-word receipt. Listening in a way the other person can actually feel. Joining a group that is already talking, and leaving a conversation without either fleeing or getting trapped. Remembering a name thirty seconds after hearing it. Talking easily with colleagues, managers, and clients when the work itself is not the topic. Walking into a networking event with a plan instead of a dread. PMP Exam Readiness
The PMP exam does not ask whether you can recite a framework. It presents a short, pressured situation — a sponsor changing scope mid-flight, a team in conflict, a forecast slipping, a vendor failing — and asks what the project manager should do next, first, or best, with four answers that are often all plausible and only one that follows the exam's governing logic. This course teaches that logic and the knowledge underneath it, together. You will learn the exam's published structure and its three domains — People, Process, and Business Environment — and how roughly half its content, as PMI publishes it, is framed in agile or hybrid terms. You will master the predictive core the exam still draws on: life cycles, process groups, baselines, and the knowledge areas that organise them. You will work the full formula family the exam actually tests, with numbers that recompute exactly. Jira & Agile Work Tools
Every team has two jobs. The first is the work itself: the feature to build, the defect to fix, the customer problem to solve. The second is the work of making the work visible — deciding what counts as a piece of work, writing it down so someone else can pick it up, showing honestly where it stands, and knowing what "done" means before anyone claims it. Jira exists to carry that second job. When it carries it well, a team can answer, at any moment and without a meeting, four questions: What are we doing? What are we doing next? What is stuck, and why? What did we actually finish? When it carries it badly, Jira becomes the work — a second, shadow job of updating tickets, performing status, and feeding a board that no longer resembles the team's real day — and the team ends up serving the tool that was bought to serve it. The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

YouTube & Video Marketing
YouTube is not a social feed you post to and forget. It is the world's largest place where people go to learn how to do something, decide what to buy, and spend real attention — twenty minutes at a time, not twenty seconds — on a business that taught them something useful. For a business, that makes a YouTube channel a different kind of asset from every other channel it runs: a library. A good video does not peak on publication day and die by Friday. It gets found in search two years later, suggested beside other videos for months, and watched by a person in the exact week they are ready to buy. Copywriting That Sells
Every business speaks to its readers before it ever meets them. The headline on the page, the subject line in the inbox, the first sentence under the product photo — that is the voice a stranger judges, in about the time it takes to decide whether to keep reading or to leave. This course teaches you to write that voice well: copy that moves a reader to act, taught as a craft with evidence, not as a bag of tricks. You will learn to start where the reader already is — with her problem, in her words — before your product is mentioned at all. You will learn to make one honest promise and keep it, to write headlines that earn the next line and opening lines that keep the headline's promise, to prefer the concrete word over the clever one, and to build pages and emails on structures that serve the reader instead of formulas that flatter the writer. The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Business Foundations: The MBA Essentials
An MBA is not a set of subjects. It is a way of seeing: the trained habit of looking at one business and seeing, simultaneously, the market it competes in, the customers it serves, the money it makes and burns, the operations that produce its promises, the people who must carry its plans, and the evidence that separates what it knows from what it hopes. This course builds that way of seeing, at survey altitude, for professionals who do the work of management without the degree. Consulting Skills: Solve Problems Like a Consultant
Some people solve problems the way consultants do, whether or not they have ever held the title. They refuse to start until they know what decision the work must serve. They break a tangled problem into parts small enough to test. They state what they expect to find before they go looking, so the evidence can prove them wrong. They ask only for the data that could change the answer. And when they speak, they do not recite everything they learned — they deliver a recommendation a busy decision-maker can act on, with the trade-offs named in plain words. This course teaches that craft, whole, as one engagement arc. You will learn to frame a problem before solving it, structure it with issue trees and MECE discipline, work it hypothesis-first, prioritize the branches that carry the money, request and run analyses that each answer a named question, and synthesize findings into a "so what" a client can use. Construction Project Management
A construction project is a promise made in three currencies at once: money, time, and a physical building that must stand up and pass inspection. This course teaches you to keep all three promises together. You will learn how a project is defined before it is priced, how drawings and specifications become an estimate and an estimate becomes a bid, and how a winning bid becomes a bought-out job with a baseline schedule that reflects real logic rather than hope. Then you will run the job: procurement and submittals on lead times, a site organized so work can flow, safety managed as a daily system rather than a poster, cost controlled against earned value rather than against invoices alone, changes priced and documented so entitlement survives, quality built in at first work rather than inspected in at the end, and closeout executed as a planned final operation rather than a fading tail. Forensic Accounting & Fraud Examination
Somewhere in most businesses, most years, nothing is wrong. The books are honest, the errors are ordinary, and the people are who they appear to be. Fraud examination exists for the other years — and for the harder truth that you cannot tell which year you are in by looking at the people. This course teaches the discipline that answers suspicion with facts. You will learn the fraud triangle and the scheme families that recur across every industry — skimming, lapping, ghost employees, fictitious vendors, statement manipulation, kickbacks. You will learn to read red flags in the books without mistaking a flag for a verdict, to decide whether an allegation has earned an investigation at all, and to plan one that protects evidence before it protects anyone's feelings. You will learn chain of custody, data analysis for anomalies, transaction tracing, corroboration outside the books, and the interview sequence that ends — only at the end — with the subject. Scrum Master Certification Readiness
A Scrum master certification assessment does not ask whether you can recite the Scrum Guide. It presents a short, pressured situation — a Daily Scrum turned into a status report, a Product Backlog item that is not Done being counted as finished, a stakeholder demanding a mid-Sprint change, a Sprint cancelled in all but name — and asks what the Scrum Master should do, with options that are often all plausible in some workplace and only one that follows the Guide. This course teaches the Guide and the assessment craft together. You will learn Scrum theory — empiricism and lean thinking — and the framework exactly as the Guide states it: the accountabilities, the events with their purposes and timeboxes, and the artifacts with their commitments. You will learn how the Scrum Master serves the team, the Product Owner, and the organisation, and where that service stops. The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Product Management Foundations
Every product is a bet. Someone decided that a group of people had a problem worth solving, that a particular solution would solve it, and that building that solution was a better use of the next three months than anything else the team could have done. Product management is the craft of making those bets well — and of knowing, afterward, whether you won. This course teaches the whole craft in order. You will learn how to find a problem in a customer's actual week rather than in your own imagination; how to turn scattered interviews into patterns you can defend; how to frame the job a customer is hiring a product to do; how to size an opportunity honestly and judge how strong your evidence really is; how to choose whom to serve first; and how to state an opportunity so clearly that a team can build from it. The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Microsoft Project Essentials
Every project lives twice: once in the world, where people do work in sequence under real limits, and once in the plan, where that work is written down. When the written version is a list of dates typed into a grid, the two lives drift apart within a fortnight — because a typed date knows nothing about the task before it, the calendar under it, or the person assigned to it, and it does not move when they do. This course teaches the other kind of plan: a schedule model in Microsoft Project, in which tasks are linked by the logic that actually joins them, durations sit on calendars that reflect real working time, resources carry real capacity, and the finish date is computed — so that when one fact changes, every date that honestly depends on it changes too, and every date that does not depend on it provably stays put. The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Accounting & Bookkeeping Essentials
Every business runs twice: once in the world — goods moving, people working, money changing hands — and once in its books. When the second run is faithful, the books become the business's memory: what it owns, what it owes, who owes it, what March actually earned, and whether the cash in the bank is the cash the records promised. When the second run is sloppy, everything built on it is guesswork wearing a uniform — the tax return, the loan application, the owner's own decisions. This course teaches you to keep the second run faithful. You will learn the accounting equation that every set of books must obey, the double-entry method that enforces it transaction by transaction, the chart of accounts that gives every kind of event a home, and the journal-to-ledger routine that turns a month of source documents into account balances you can prove. The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Corporate Financial Management
Every company is two businesses at once. The first is the one customers see: products, plants, people, orders. The second is invisible and decides whether the first one survives: the flow of money into, through, and out of the firm. Corporate financial management is the discipline of running that second business well, and this course teaches it from the decision chair. You will price time itself — why a dollar next year is worth less than a dollar today, and by exactly how much. You will build the company's cost of capital from its parts, and appraise investments with net present value, learning precisely where the internal rate of return — the most quoted number in business — breaks down and misleads. The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Business Analysis Foundations
Every failed project tells its story twice: once in the post-mortem, where the causes sound exotic — the vendor, the technology, the deadline — and once in its requirements, where the causes were ordinary and visible from the start: the person who would use the system was never asked; the person who was asked described a solution instead of a need; the need that mattered most was written in words no one could test; the change that broke the schedule was agreed in a corridor and never recorded. This course teaches the discipline that prevents that second story. You will learn to find everyone who can approve, block, use, or quietly defeat a change; to draw real needs out of interviews, workshops, observation, and documents without leading the witness; to analyze what you heard — sorting need from solution, modeling the process as it is and as it must become, and naming the data and the rules the system must honor. The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Statistics for Business Decisions
Every business decision is a bet placed under uncertainty, and statistics is the discipline of placing those bets with your eyes open. A price is raised on the strength of a test. A warehouse is expanded on the strength of a forecast average. A hiring plan is approved on the strength of a survey. A product is killed on the strength of a chart. Behind each of those moments sits a pile of numbers that someone summarized — and every summary hides choices: which cases were counted, which were missing, which average was quoted, which comparison was never made. This course teaches you to make the summaries honestly and to read other people's summaries the way an auditor reads accounts. The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Business Analytics in Practice
Every business is drowning in numbers and starving for decisions. The systems record everything: every sale, every visit, every return, every shift. What they do not record is what any of it means — which numbers answer the question actually on the table, which are measuring the wrong thing beautifully, and which finding is strong enough to bet money, people, or a season on. This course teaches the applied analytics cycle inside a real business: how to frame a decision question so data can answer it, how to find the data and audit it before trusting it, how to choose an analysis that fits the question, how to read results without fooling yourself, how segmentation and cohort thinking reveal what averages hide, how forecasting and experiments work at practitioner depth, how to present an analysis so a decision actually follows, and how to measure, afterward, whether the decision worked. The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Employee Relations: Handling People Issues Fairly
People issues do not arrive labelled, scheduled, or fair. They arrive as a knock on the door, a raised voice in a corridor, a resignation letter with one sentence too many, a rumour that has already done a lap of the building. How a workplace handles those moments decides whether its people trust it. This course teaches the casework: the disciplined, human craft of handling a concern from the first hearing to the final repair. You will learn to receive a concern without pre-judging it, sort what kind of issue you are actually holding, find facts instead of collecting opinions, hold a difficult conversation without stripping anyone's dignity, and write a record that still makes sense to a stranger in six months. The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Starting & Growing Your Own Business
Starting a business is a chain of decisions, and the chain breaks at its weakest link. A good idea with no paying customer is a hobby with expenses. A clear offer priced below its costs is a machine for losing money politely. A profitable month whose cash is trapped in stock and unpaid invoices is a crisis wearing a smile. This course teaches the whole chain, in the order a founder actually meets it. You will learn to test an idea against real demand before you spend on it, to name the customer and the job they are paying you to do, to build an offer a stranger can understand in seconds, and to price it so each sale leaves a contribution. Then you will meet the money plainly: what starting really costs, how long your cash lasts, what one sale truly earns, and the exact point where a month stops losing and starts paying. The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Cloud Foundations for Business Teams
Almost every business now runs, in part, on computers it does not own, in buildings it will never visit, under agreements most of its managers have never read. Email lives there. Files live there. The till, the rota, the customer records, the online shop — piece by piece, the working machinery of an ordinary business has moved onto rented computing, and the move happened faster than most business teams' understanding of it. This course closes that gap. You will learn what the cloud actually is beneath the marketing word, how the three service models divide work between you and a provider, where your data physically lives and why that matters, and how migration choices differ — because "move to the cloud" is not one decision but at least four, with different costs and different risks. Then you will follow the money: how metered billing really works, where waste hides, and how a business team keeps a rented estate under control. The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Data Engineering & Big Data Basics
Every modern business runs on data it did not create in one place. Orders arrive from stores, scans arrive from warehouses, payments arrive from banks, clicks arrive from websites, and readings arrive from machines — and somewhere between those arrivals and the report on a manager's desk, a whole hidden system does the work: collecting, moving, cleaning, joining, storing, and checking. That hidden system is data engineering. When it works, nobody notices it. When it fails, the numbers are late, wrong, duplicated, or quietly missing, and every decision built on them inherits the flaw. The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Business Storytelling: Move People with Narrative
Business runs on decisions, and decisions are rarely moved by information alone. A board has seen the figures and still does not act. A team has heard the new strategy three times and still works the old way. A prospect can recite your product's features back to you and still buys from somebody else. In each case the missing thing is not more information. It is a story — a shaped account of a person, a want, an obstacle, and a change — that lets the listener feel what the information means and where they stand inside it. The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Marketing Analytics: Measure What Matters
Every marketing team can describe its activity. Very few can describe its effect. The activity is easy to count — impressions served, emails sent, posts published, dollars spent. The effect is the only thing the money was for: customers who bought because of the spending, revenue that would not have existed without it, a business that is larger than it would otherwise have been. This course teaches you to measure the effect and to stop paying for the activity. You will learn how funnels actually multiply, why every rate is a fraction whose denominator is a decision, how to price a new customer honestly and set that price against what the customer is worth, and how attribution — the industry's favorite answer — shares credit by rule without ever proving cause. The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Instagram & Short-Form Video Marketing
A short video is the smallest complete act of marketing a business can perform. In under a minute it must stop a thumb, make a promise, keep that promise interestingly, and leave the viewer knowing what to do next — and it must do all of that for a stranger who owes it nothing, on a phone, very possibly with the sound off. This course teaches that act as a craft with parts you can name, practice, and judge. The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Generative AI Workflows: Beyond the Prompt
A prompt is a single ask. A workflow is a piece of work, organised. Most professional AI use fails not at the prompt but at everything around it: the job was never broken into steps, so one giant ask tried to do six jobs at once; nothing was checked, so a confident error travelled straight into a client document; nothing was written down, so the one person who knew how the trick worked went on holiday and the trick went with them. This course teaches you to build the organised version. You will learn to decompose a weekly job into steps each with one clear task, sequence those steps with explicit inputs and outputs, build templates with controlled variables, carry exactly the right context from step to step, place human review gates where errors are expensive, pilot a workflow safely, read AI output like an editor, and handle failure without panic or silent guessing. Lean Leadership & Continuous Improvement
Every operation has two systems running at once. The first is the one on paper: the schedule, the standard, the procedure, the target on the board. The second is the one that actually happens at 2:40 on a tired Thursday afternoon, when a fixture is worn, a new hire is guessing, and the supervisor is in a meeting. Continuous improvement is the work of closing the gap between those two systems — not once, in a project, but every day, as a habit the whole team owns. And the person who sets whether that habit lives or dies is not the plant manager, not a consultant, and not a poster in the break room. It is the frontline leader: the team lead, the supervisor, the shift leader — the person who is actually there. The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Goal Setting & Achievement: Goals That Stick
Almost everyone has set a goal. Almost no one can show you the system that carried one of theirs from the sentence they wrote to the result they got. Goals fail in predictable places, and this course names all of them: the goal that was an activity dressed as an outcome; the finish line nobody could see; the target borrowed from someone else's life and never truly owned; the measure that could be gamed until it meant nothing; the stretch set so high it broke effort or so low it bored it; the company goal copied word for word onto every team until it belonged to no one; the review that never happened; the score that was softened to keep the peace; the two goals that collided in March and were both still on the wall in October; the stale goal nobody had the standing to retire. The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Microsoft 365 & Office Essentials
Most office work does not fail at the hard parts. It fails at the ordinary ones: a report nobody can navigate because its headings are just bold text, a deck that stores the presenter's notes instead of making the audience's decision, an inbox run as an archive, a calendar run as a suggestion, and a shared folder containing eleven files all named "final." The tools are not the problem. Microsoft 365 and the Office apps are capable, mature, and — used with a few durable disciplines — genuinely fast. The problem is that most people were never taught the disciplines; they were handed the apps and left to improvise, and improvisation, repeated daily by a whole team, becomes chaos with good software. The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Engineering Project Management
An engineering project is a promise made in technical language: this plant will deliver this output, at these conditions, to this standard, by this date, for this sum — and here is how we will prove each clause of that promise before you are asked to pay for it in full. Managing such a project is therefore a double discipline. You must manage the ordinary project facts — money, time, people, suppliers — and you must manage the technical facts underneath them: what is required, what has been designed, what has been changed, what has been tested, and what is merely hoped. Lose the second discipline and the first becomes theatre: budgets consumed on schedule by work that does not integrate, dates met by systems that do not commission, handovers signed for plants that do not perform. The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Cryptography & Security Fundamentals
Cryptography is the machinery underneath almost every security promise a business makes. "Your files are encrypted." "This connection is secure." "That document was signed." Each of those sentences rests on a small set of primitives — a handful of mathematical tools with precise, limited guarantees. This course teaches those primitives one at a time, in plain language, with the limits attached: what symmetric encryption does and does not prove, why a hash is not an encryption, what a digital signature can settle in a dispute and what it cannot, how two parties who have never met build a shared secret on an open network, and why the strongest algorithm in the world fails when its key sits in the wrong drawer. Then it turns to practice: certificates and TLS, the full life of a key from generation to destruction, rotation and compromise, passwords stored properly, algorithm choice over long horizons, and the implementation mistakes where real systems actually break. The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Web Foundations: How Websites & Apps Get Built
Every manager now works through the web, whether or not the web is their job. The company website is the shopfront, the brochure, the till, and increasingly the business itself — and the person accountable for it is very often a person who did not build it, could not build it, and is expected to judge it anyway. This course closes that gap. You will learn what a website or app actually is: pages delivered by a server to a browser, built from a front end a visitor sees and a back end that does the work behind it, holding its orders, accounts, and stock in a database, reached through an address that has to be found before anything can load. Then you will follow a real commission through the whole life of web work: how a brief becomes a scope, how a scope becomes an estimate, how design, build, content, and testing proceed in stages, what launch day actually involves, and what maintenance, security, and measurement demand after the applause. The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

AI Product Management
Every software company now faces the same meeting. Someone — a founder, a board member, a competitor's press release — asks why the product does not "have AI in it yet," and the room looks at the product manager. This course is for the person the room looks at. It teaches the full discipline: starting from a real job rather than a capability list; judging feasibility in its three parts — technical, data, operational; deciding what the data can support before anything is promised; designing evaluation before launch, so "is it good enough?" has a written answer instead of a vibe; specifying behaviour, fallbacks, and the human's role; piloting under pre-agreed guardrails; pricing a feature whose cost rises with every use; rolling out in stages with a working kill switch; measuring what the model changes once real users arrive; responding when it misbehaves, drifts, or is quietly changed by a vendor; and knowing when to iterate, narrow, or retire. The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Google Workspace & Gemini at Work
Most office work in a Google shop does not fail at the hard parts. It fails at the ordinary ones: a proposal nobody can navigate because its headings are just large text, a deck that stores the presenter's notes instead of making the client's decision, an inbox run as an archive, a calendar run as a suggestion, a shared drive containing nine copies of the same budget with nine different totals, and — newest of all — an AI draft pasted into a client message with its invented details still inside it. The tools are not the problem. Google Workspace is capable, mature, and — used with a few durable disciplines — genuinely fast, and the assistant inside it is genuinely useful when it is directed and checked. The problem is that most people were never taught the disciplines; they were handed the apps and left to improvise, and improvisation, repeated daily by a whole team, becomes chaos with good software. HR Administration Essentials
Every organization makes two sets of promises to its people. The first set is spoken: the offer, the welcome, the manager's assurance that the hours, the pay, the leave, and the benefits will work as described. The second set is written: the employee file, the timesheet, the pay record, the leave balance, the acknowledgment, the calendar that says when each obligation falls due. When the two sets agree, nobody notices the paperwork at all — and that invisibility is the sign the administration is working. When they disagree, the written set is the only one that can settle the argument, and by then it is too late to write it. The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Marketing Strategy: Win Your Market
Every business competes for a buyer who has other options, including the option of doing nothing. Marketing strategy is the set of decisions that determines whether that buyer chooses you — and whether choosing you makes the business money. This course teaches those decisions in the order they must be made. You will learn to define a market before you measure it, to size it in a way that ties, to cut it into segments that can actually be acted on, and to choose among those segments with your eyes open about size, growth, competition, and fit. You will learn to find out what a buyer is really hiring your product to do, to map the rivals and substitutes that stand between you and that buyer, and to build a difference that is worth paying for and can be proved. Then you will turn choice into position: a place in the buyer's mind, supported by an offer and a price that express it. The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

QuickBooks & Modern Bookkeeping Tools
A generation ago, a small business's books lived in a ledger, and the keeper's craft was handwriting discipline. Today the books live in software, and the craft has changed shape without getting easier. The program posts instantly, totals flawlessly, imports the bank's own record overnight, and proposes answers before you have finished your coffee. It also accepts a duplicate bill without blinking, files a payment against the wrong customer with perfect arithmetic, lets a bank feed quietly double-count a week of card sales, and produces a beautiful profit report that includes a bank loan as income. The tool does the recording. It does not do the judging — and judging, inside the tool, at the speed the tool moves, is the skill this course teaches. The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Design Thinking for Innovation
Every organisation has more ideas than it can afford and less certainty than it admits. The expensive failures rarely come from a shortage of creativity. They come from solving the wrong problem beautifully: a team falls in love with a solution, builds it at full cost, and discovers at launch that the people it was built for never had the problem it solves — or had it, but not in the form the solution assumes. Design thinking, taught properly, is the discipline that prevents that failure. It is a five-stage process — empathise, define, ideate, prototype, test — run as a loop with evidence gates, whose entire purpose is to make an organisation's biggest uncertainties cheap to examine before they become expensive to own. The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

AI Search Optimization: SEO in the AI Era
For a generation, being found online meant one thing: a searcher typed a few words, received a page of links, and chose one. The business's job was to be the chosen link. That job has not vanished, but a second job has arrived beside it, and for a growing share of questions it is now the first job a buyer meets. The searcher — increasingly, the person asking a chat assistant or reading a synthesized answer placed above the links — receives an answer, written in sentences, assembled from sources the searcher may never visit. The business's question is no longer only will they click us? It is when the machine answers instead of listing, are we in the answer at all — cited as a source, summarized correctly, and described in terms that let the buyer choose us? The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

GIS & Geospatial Data Basics
Every business decision with a where in it is a spatial decision, whether the room calls it that or not. Where to open. Whom to serve first. Which depot covers which streets. Where demand is rising, where coverage is thin, where risk concentrates. Geographic information systems — GIS — are how organizations store, combine, and analyze location data: customer addresses, store sites, delivery routes, service districts, flood zones, census tracts, satellite images, and the boundaries drawn by governments and by companies themselves. This course teaches the literacy underneath all of it. The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Applied AI Engineering
Every AI feature begins life as a demo that works. Someone shows a model summarizing a document, drafting a reply, extracting fields from a form — and it works, in the room, on the examples chosen for the room. Then the feature ships, and production begins its cross-examination. The inputs are messier than the demo's. The volume is a hundred times larger. A supplier changes a document format without telling anyone. Costs arrive as a monthly bill nobody forecast. A confident wrong answer reaches a customer. The gap between the demo and the system is not a model gap. It is an engineering gap — and closing it is a learnable, nameable discipline. Teams rarely fail for lack of intelligence. They fail in the meeting where new thinking was needed: the same three people speak, the first plausible idea wins, criticism arrives before the ideas are even finished, and the team leaves with the plan it walked in with, slightly reworded. This course treats that failure as a tools problem, not a talent problem. For each job a creative session must do — open a problem up, see it from a new angle, break a fixed assumption, combine fragments into something new, narrow a field fairly, carry a choice forward — there are named, teachable techniques with known steps and known failure modes. This course teaches the catalogue, the discipline that separates making ideas from judging them, the preparation that makes any technique work, the facilitation judgment that keeps a room honest, and the follow-through that stops good output dying in a photograph of a whiteboard. The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Psychology at Work: Understanding What Drives People
Every workplace runs on a theory of people. It is rarely written down. It lives in the rota that assumes nobody minds the worst shifts if the pay is right, in the bonus that assumes effort is bought by the pound, in the manager who reads a missed deadline as laziness and another as overload — and acts on the reading. This course drags that hidden theory into the light and replaces it with a better one, built piece by piece from what is actually known about how people work: what moves them, what they notice, how they explain each other, where their judgment bends, how they take feedback, how groups pull on them, and what change costs them. You will not finish with a set of tricks for handling people. You will finish with a disciplined habit: describe behaviour before you explain it, check your explanation against the situation, name the mechanism you think is at work, and choose a response that would still look fair with your reasoning read aloud. The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Memory, Focus & Speed Reading
Your professional life runs on three quiet capacities you rarely examine: you must remember what you learn, you must attend to one thing long enough to do it well, and you must read — reports, briefs, proposals, procedures, correspondence — faster than the pile grows, without fooling yourself about what you actually understood. Most professionals were never taught how any of the three works. They re-read documents and call the familiarity learning. They keep six things open at once and call the exhaustion effort. They skim a brief the night before a meeting and call the skim reading. This course replaces those habits with techniques grounded in how memory and attention actually work. You will learn the three stages every memory must pass through, why forgetting is normal and often useful information rather than failure, and the deliberate encoding moves — association, elaboration, chunking, spatial placement, spaced review — that give material a way back. The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Scientific & Technical Writing
Every technical organization runs on documents it barely notices — until one of them fails. A specification whose tolerance two inspectors read two ways. A procedure whose fifth step assumes a tool the night shift does not have. A test report whose headline claim is larger than the table beneath it. The work itself was done well; the writing is where it broke. This course teaches the craft that prevents those breaks. The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Influence Science: The Research-Backed Playbook
Every day at work, people decide under uncertainty: whether to adopt a new process, approve a budget, join a program, trust a recommendation, or change a habit. Decades of published research have studied how those decisions are actually made — which features of a message, a messenger, and a moment move people, which ones merely feel as if they should, and which ones backfire. This course teaches that research as a working playbook. You will learn the canonical principles as research findings — reciprocity, commitment and consistency, social proof, authority, liking, scarcity, and unity — and the model that organizes them, the elaboration likelihood model's two routes to persuasion. You will learn framing, the sequenced-request techniques (foot-in-the-door and door-in-the-face) with their evidence status stated plainly, and source credibility as a research subject in its own right. The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Project Management Principles & Practice
A project is the most honest work an organization does. Operations can hide behind routine; a project cannot. It has a beginning that someone authorized, an end that someone will judge, a boundary that someone drew, and a promise — of benefit, on a date, for a sum of money — made in a room and kept, or not, in the world. The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Leading People & Teams
Anyone can be given a team. The appointment is an email, a chart, a title. Leading the team is something else: the daily practice of getting good work out of people who are watching you closely, deciding — mostly silently — whether to give you their best effort or merely their attendance. This course teaches that practice at team level: why formal authority starts the job but never finishes it, how to know nine different people well enough to lead each of them, how to set a direction the team can repeat and standards it can see, and how to use the leader's everyday instruments — the one-to-one, delegation, feedback, the coaching conversation, the team meeting — so they develop people instead of merely moving tasks. The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Communication Skills Masterclass
Most workplace damage is not done by bad intentions or missing talent. It is done in the gap between what one person meant and what another person heard — a handoff detail nobody verified, a request nobody could act on, a concern nobody surfaced until it became a crisis, a refusal delivered so badly that the relationship paid for what the answer cost nothing. This course closes that gap, skill by skill. You will learn to listen in a way that proves you understood, to ask questions that find the real issue under the stated one, to put your point first and support it in an order a busy listener can follow, to adapt the same message to the plant floor, the client, and the boardroom without changing its truth, to deliver difficult news whole and early, to say no in a form the other person can accept, to present an idea so a meeting can actually decide on it, to choose between speaking, writing, and meeting — and to know when each of those channels will betray you. The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Strategic Leadership & Management
Most organizations do not lack a strategy document. They lack a leader who leads the strategy — week after week, in the budget meeting and the plant walk and the board session and the bad quarter — until the document becomes the way the place actually runs. This course teaches that practice, at the level of the whole organization. You will learn to read your organization's position honestly, including the parts the dashboard flatters; to set a direction plain enough that other people can repeat accurately and act on without you; to translate it into a small set of funded priorities; to allocate money, people, and your own attention against them — and to stop, publicly and completely, the work the strategy excludes. You will learn to hold the two conversations strategy lives or dies in: upward, with the board or owners who own the risk, and downward, with the front line who own the reality. The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Kanban & Agile Flow
Most knowledge work is invisible. A support request lives in someone's inbox, a review lives in someone's head, an approval lives in a hallway conversation — and because nobody can see the work, nobody can see that there is too much of it, that it has been waiting for nine days, or that it is all piled up in front of one overloaded stage. Kanban begins by making that work visible on a board, and then it does something more important: it treats the board not as a status display but as a flow system — a system with an entry point, stages, queues, an exit, and measurable behavior. This course teaches you to run that system deliberately. You will visualize the work honestly, replace push with pull, set and defend limits on work in progress, and manage the flow of items rather than the busyness of people. You will learn the four core flow measures — lead time, cycle time, throughput, and work-item age — and the arithmetic that connects them. The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Business Strategy in Practice
Most strategy teaching fails in one of two directions. The first direction is slogans: be customer-centric, leverage synergies, disrupt or be disrupted — sentences that sound like strategy and decide nothing. The second direction is the museum tour: framework after framework, each admired, none used, until the learner owns a vocabulary and no judgment. This course refuses both. Strategy, as taught here, is a small set of consequential choices — where to compete, how to win there, what to build, what to refuse — made on evidence, expressed so other people can act on them, and reviewed against what actually happens. The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Computational Thinking & Structured Problem Solving
Most workplace problems do not arrive as problems. They arrive as a feeling — orders are late, the inbox never empties, the same complaint keeps coming back, nobody can say how long the backlog will take to clear. Feelings are honest signals, but you cannot act on a feeling. You can only act on a structure: a problem stated so its parts can be seen, its repeating pattern named, its steps written down, its faults isolated, and its answer checked. This course teaches that structuring discipline from first move to last. You will learn to decompose a large problem into parts small enough to solve, to recognize patterns across cases so you solve a class of problems once instead of one problem many times, to build simple models that keep what matters and drop the rest, and to write procedures in plain language — steps, branches, and repeats — that anyone can follow. The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Negotiation Mastery: The Principled Playbook
Most working agreements are not won or lost in a single dramatic meeting. They are ground away, a little at a time, in renewals nobody prepared for, in scope arguments nobody framed, in price talks where the first number said out loud owned the room, and in corridors afterwards, where the real objections finally surface. This course teaches you to negotiate those ordinary, consequential agreements on principle: by a method you can state out loud, defend in writing, and repeat on the next negotiation without depending on mood, talent, or who raised their voice last. You will learn to look underneath a stated position for the interest that produced it — on both sides of the table. You will learn to keep the relationship and the problem in separate hands, so that firmness on the merits never has to become hardness toward a person. The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Email Writing That Gets Replies
Email is the written form of working relationships, and it is judged the way relationships are judged: quickly, partly, and on small evidence. The reader who opens your message is busy, is reading among thirty other messages, and owes you nothing beyond the seconds the subject line bought. Inside those seconds, everything is decided: whether the message gets read now, later, or never; whether the request inside it is granted, deferred, or quietly allowed to die; and whether the writer is filed, in the reader's mind, under easy to deal with or under hard work. This course teaches you to write email that respects those seconds and earns what it asks for. The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.

Productivity for the Overwhelmed
Overload is not a feeling. It is an arithmetic condition: demand, counted in hours, exceeds capacity, counted in hours, week after week. Feelings follow the arithmetic — the Sunday dread, the inbox anxiety, the sense that finishing one thing only reveals two more — but feelings are a poor instrument for fixing it, because a hard week and a structurally impossible workload feel identical from inside. This course teaches you to replace the feeling with a count, and then to work the count. You will learn to audit what is actually demanded of you, to triage honestly when the total cannot be done, to build a task system that holds too much work without holding it in your head, to protect the unbroken time in which your most valuable work happens, to cut the meeting and message load that consumes hours you never chose to spend, and to recover in a way that keeps next week's capacity real. The Lighthouse Coach teaches it by conversation: it asks the question, listens to your answer, names what it hears, and asks the next one. Speak out loud or type — it converses either way.
