AI Governance, Risk & Responsible Use
Instructor: Cognosco Learning · Duration: Full Day · In-Person
One-day, in-person course — $595 per person · 3–4 seats save 10% · 5+ seats save 20%

About This Course
AI tools entered most organizations the way weather enters a building — through every opening at once, before anyone wrote the rules for them. People are already pasting, summarizing, drafting, and deciding with them, in work customers will see and in records the organization must stand behind. This course teaches the other order of events: rules first, written plainly enough to follow, and then the habits that keep the rules alive. You will learn to name AI risk in plain terms, write an acceptable-use standard and data rules by class, vet and approve tools on the record, put a named human owner on every output, set review points before work leaves the building, and disclose AI use to customers without hiding or apologizing. You will then learn to run that rulebook in the real organization: finding the shadow tools people already use, owning the error when AI output goes wrong in public, testing vendor claims against evidence, training and attesting your people, and auditing the whole arrangement on a rhythm — so the standard stays a control, and never becomes decoration.
What You'll Learn
- Write an acceptable-use standard and data rules by class that people can actually follow, including what never goes into an AI tool
- Vet and approve AI tools on the record, assign a named human owner to every AI use and output, and set review points before work leaves the organization
- Disclose AI use to customers plainly, respond to AI incidents by owning the error, and test vendor claims against evidence you can check
- Find and govern shadow AI, train and attest your people, and run an audit and review rhythm that keeps the standard current as tools change
