Hospitality Leadership & Guest Experience
Instructor: Cognosco Learning · Duration: Full Day · In-Person
One-day, in-person course — $595 per person · 3–4 seats save 10% · 5+ seats save 20%

About This Course
Most guest experiences do not fail at the moment the guest notices. They fail earlier — in a roster built for the night the leader wished for, in a standard announced by poster and never translated into anything a person can do at seven on a Friday, in a department protecting its own corner while the guest's evening falls between the corners, in a team member who knows exactly what would fix a failure and has no authority to do it. This course teaches the other way of leading a house. You will learn to build a standard the guest can feel, in observable terms your team helped set and can keep. You will learn to read tonight honestly — arrivals, events, covers, staffing, the gaps named while there is still time to act on them — and to align the whole house in a briefing that earns its minutes. You will learn to lead the living operation from the floor, to give recovery authority that is real and to back it when it is used, to protect a team member in a hard moment without surrendering the guest, and to read feedback — including the public kind — with more honesty than comfort prefers. By the end of this program, you will have a complete way of leading a hospitality operation: the conditions built before the door opens, the presence while it is open, and the standard, signed in your own name, that holds when you are not in the room.
