Almost everyone at work now carries a second workplace in a pocket: a feed where colleagues gather after hours, a group chat where the shift actually talks, a profile that names — or plainly identifies — the place they work, and an audience that can copy anything in a second and keep it forever. Most digital trouble at work does not come from villains. It comes from decent people applying room rules to a space that is not a room: speaking as if only friends were listening, as if the words would fade like spoken words, as if a private account were a separate life, as if confidential were a label on a document rather than a quality of the information itself. This course teaches the other way of being online. You will learn why nothing you post is only among friends, how you and your employer are identifiable even when neither is named, how to keep the organization's information out of casual spaces, and how to treat colleagues, customers, and the public online exactly as you would across a desk. You will learn who may speak for the organization, what you own when you publish content a tool generated for you, and how photographs and recordings are governed by consent and courtesy. And you will learn the manager's discipline for the morning a troubling post lands on a desk: verify, preserve, route — never improvise. By the end, you will hold a written digital conduct standard of your own, plain enough to use in the ten seconds before you post.
