Strategic Thinking

Most teams do not lack plans — they lack a chosen strategy, stated plainly enough to guide a Tuesday decision. This course teaches strategic thinking at the level where direction is actually set. You will learn to state where you will compete and how you will win in plain words, and to name the trade-offs that make a strategy real, including what you will not do. You will learn to see the whole board: the customer's real problem, the system your move lands in, and the consequences that arrive after the first result. You will learn to read signals without chasing noise, to think in more than one time horizon at once, and to prepare for more than one future instead of betting on a single prediction. Then you will make the strategy real: resources allocated as the strategy made visible, priorities sequenced so they survive contact with the calendar, measures that tell the truth about whether the direction is working, and a review rhythm that revises the course on evidence instead of letting it drift. The course works on your actual strategy throughout: bring a real strategic choice, anonymized, and leave with it chosen, stated, and ready to be reviewed.
